I'm surprised how much rakeback adds up. This is the first time in my life I've ever gotten RB. Now I understand how there are RB pros.

So far I'm averaging 10.5k hands per week. I wonder what the upper limit for volume is. I feel like I'm pretty close to it.

Yeah I like doing it when they're in the middle of a hand to try and distract them.

Adds a new element to the game. It's fun.

Hey if anyone needs me to rank a song or movie I’m your guy. I think that’s what skwid and zol are fighting over. Idk.

I would conservatively estimate that I’ve been averaging 15K hands a week for the past 5 weeks across all game formats. I don’t think I could keep this up for years, but for months I think I don’t think I’d burn out too hard.

Unfortunately, I’m finding the rakeback pretty underwhelming on PS though. Definitely not noteworthy in winrate.

Also, I’m picking up PLO decently now after seriously sucking for my first few sessions. I’m finding it hilarious that I can be profitable at .10/.25 without even fully understanding hand strength. Earlier today I didn’t raise a full house OTR because there were two aces up and I forgot that V had to play two cards, not just one.

10.5k hands is all NL? I've played about 23k hands since I first started about 5 weeks ago. All but ~500 are PLO tho so takes longer to play hands than nlhe. I could see getting burned out fairly quickly at this pace.

Good thing is I'm playing such low stakes that it just isn't hard at all. Almost never get put in tough spots.

Last two Saturday night have been like poker circa 2006 in low stakes PLO. Remarkable stuff

Here’s a quality donation from NL early yesterday.
Big fish just lost an all-in and is tilted the couple hands after.
I then pick up red aces in the big blind. Fish opens 3x in .5/1.00 game, pro on his left calls, folds to me, I 15x reraise, fish calls, pro knows what’s coming and folds.

A-2-3 monotone hearts flop. I lead $10 into $35-ish, fish snap shoves he $85 stack remaining. I uhhhh, call. Fish has 7-8 of spades and is drawing to a runner, runner chop. I somehow hold.

But this is not PLO and therefore less funny.

I guess just horrible insulation then, because it gets hotter in my room than it does outside.

in fact the only gluten thing in my diet i don't miss is beer, which is strange because i used to drink it religiously and even brewed it - for a very long time my goal was having a brewery before 40, still have a few years to make it happen but unsure now about running a business on something i can't really drink anymore and gluten free beer is just bad like most gluten free alternatives

what i've learned more than anything is if we originally make something with wheat based flour instead of some other flour, there's a very good reason for that
Why?! I would never eat something that I knew would give me a horrible reaction. I would never have a drink again if hangovers weren't preventable.

How many tables are you playing on PS? I can only play 4 tables max. So it kind of limits the volume. I would play 8 ideally. Hate having to pick and choose between which fish I want to play.

I think I spend more time scouring the tables for the best games than actually playing my hands.

Yeah all at NL. I'm at 21k hands now in 2 wks of play. I'm playing mostly 40nl during the day and a mix of 40, 60 and 100 at night due to the player make up of the games.

I'm not 4 tabling the entire time though because I get tired constantly looking for tables. When I just want to cruise while I'm doing work I just have 1 table oepn.

Spuy, why are you playing small on the apps compared to 200+ on Ignition?

Xtra, I'm up to gold chests, on number 7/10 and Stars gave me a 48,500 target instead of the usual 5,000. Have you played on GG at all? Appears to be both better rb and lower rake.

idk a mix of a lot of things. I was getting tired of the software crashing and being buggy. (Lost about $1k in various hands getting randomly disconnected after putting money in the pot).

Kind of bored of the anonymous format. Ironically after being accused of cheating I read some other threads on it and it's pretty widely believed that the 500NL+ games aren't on the up and up. I started playing Zone to mitigate, but the 500nl zone didn't run often enough and I was just kind of bored playing 200nl.

Phone app has a much more fun interface, worse players, and I get rb. Seeing other players from the chat thread once in awhile makes it more fun as well. Plus no one is using a HUD so I'm not giving up edge in that regard either.

As a rec player Poker bros is way more appealing than Ignition ainec.

Also I get paid directly in $ to my venmo. No more dicking around with BTC everytime I cash out.

Wj294 - that’s wild man. We’re legitimately at almost identical places in RB. I have also heard good things about GG, but I’m trying to hit a bankroll goal by the end of May on PS. Will re-evaluate in a few weeks what my long term online plan is. I’m getting sucked into too many tourneys and it’s distracting me from the more dependable money in cash games.

Spyu - I’m on a laptop that makes it hard to play more than 3 tables at a time, but I usually have three games going. The difference is probably the hours that I’m logging a couple times a week. I don’t know how to actually check my hands logged, I’m just pretty positive that I have a few days a week where I get 3K plus in. I also double table zoom sometimes, and doing that for a few hours is easily 1-2 K hands. I think 250 on one zoom table an hour is standard. My standard routine is two .5/1.00 games going with a .25/.50 zoom game on the side.

And and yes yes Wj294, I forgot to answer your other question. It is requiring 48,500 for unlocking chests for me now too at this point. On average, probably takes me 5-6 days to unlock one. My best score from one so far was $30 and 1000 stars points.

Last 2 hands at 60nl with epic drooler to my right over 200bb deep.

I flop top set in 2 different hands 4 ways to the flop. Both times board run out is one card straight and one card flush on the board.

One day, one day....

The good thing about Poker Bros is that it's easy to predict what the turn and river card will be. Just think about the worst possible card for your hand and that's what it will be.

between that and the J6s it sounds like a mobile game that really does recreate the live scene.

Yes they sure did their research to make it feel realistic.

If you have TT the flop will be J 2 3 and they will have J6.

If you have JJ the flop will be Q 5 5 and they will own you with Q2.

So on and so forth. So I've discovered that the secret is to inverse all my starting ranges. I've started printing money since. AA I fold 75% and raise 25% now for balance.

I've lost a lot less money with AA since I stopped playing them as often.
