Saw them on CBS Sunday Morning couple weeks ago. Was exactly the same as the Letterman performance. Not bad, though.

It seems Cut and SW both get a ton of votes but there are a load of others. Also if you want to go off strip you probably get far better value

I am familiar with CUT. I was heavily intoxicated at the time, but iirc, that was where Sabr, Skip, BMF, and myself went one year during the meetup.

Incorrect. That was at Delmonico (in 2018 I believe).

I think The Cut excursion was in 2015 or thereabouts. It was a big group outing. Our visit to Delmonico was just a handful of us. I believe Bip was part of the The Cut group. I am thinking maybe 11t was there too.

it's a teenage stoner film but well crafted with realistic characters/motivations and handles autistic characters exceedingly well

the ending felt a little abrupt and with some conflicts only implied to be resolved (imo. feel like they were resolved just not rammed down your throat and more of an implied "they've figured x out" rather than the speech the character gives at the end closing things up tidily with a closing monologue) but the film was solid throughout with a bunch of genuinely funny laugh out loud moments for me (and that doesn't often happen with me)

definitely rec renting/buying it and watching even if it weren't the "support indy films made by those in our community" aspect to it

Oh 67o? I would not say he was run off. I would say the avg age of the thread got older where as he seemed to be the 20 something like when I started posting. There is always a period of adjustment when establishing a dialogue with new people who think differently.

yeah i wouldn't say run off either upon further reflection, more just so much younger than the rest of us that it was a square peg in a round hole from day one

also had some weird rivalry with skip that i never understood
