will def take you up on this at some point maybe not tomorrow not sure what my schedule looks like but I'm just trying to learn HU w/o putting a massive dent in my roll or anything so as long as ur willing to play 1/2 I'll be down at some point sometime soon.
09-16-2009 , 03:32 AM
and as for the 92.88 BB thing or whatever no lie I did this once and thats where I got about 16 hands before I'm sure the guy looked me up, realized that my like 200 hands of HU experience was too much for him and instaquit me in the middle of a hand he just open folds and leaves.

hitler talks about the vmas incident
09-17-2009 , 01:12 PM
Im out eating dinner with this British couple whilst traveling in Europe and we are on the subject of futures. I try and dodge by saying "I do things on the internet." I must be the biggest ****ing life tellbox ever because the girl gets super excited and yells "POKER." Well whatever I'm impressed so I divulge. Apparently the guy has broken even after 200 $5 double or nothings on Stars and tells me I can't make $100k a year because that's impossible.

About an hour later we get back to poker. Guy says "well after I won at the DoNs..." and I do a semi-hemorrhaging internal facepalm. I interrupt "you said you broke even." Well apparently ending up with the same as what you started with is winning because "they take out this stuff called rake" (no **** dumbass). I tell him he is stupid. He doesn't take me seriously because I am drunk. I would have said the same sober.

Although it makes me optimistic about my online poker future, it's just so painful to see these cooler-than-thou one-uppers try and own you when they have no clue. I never act like a dbag and flaunt my wealth or poker awesomeness but these 20 year old faux-savants need to sit the **** down when someone threatens their male prowess by being better at a masculine activity than them. Feeling like you have to be cool in front of your SO is immature, just stop.

I know I come off as pretty harsh and/or toolish but if someone tells me they are awesome at ping pong and travel the world doing it I don't immediately them stories about my sick serve and spin shots. Im curious when in the presence of awesomeness, not confronting.

/end rant. looking forward to getting back to the tables next week
