Argentina is favourite vs Germany, there must be some value in betting for Germany, right?

They're paying 3.25 at BetFred for Germany to win and 2.38 for Argentina to win

Rungood appears to be over for now... The first thing I did in July was getting photographed doing somewhere between 140 and 160 kph in an 80 zone on a junction between two autobahns somewhere in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany Does any of the Germans in here know approx. what kind of trouble I am in?

Here in Norway I could have expected a few weeks jailtime and a year or two on the sidewalk to go with the €1k fine... Luckily I know Germany is more lenient towards spirited drivers, but maybe I was pushing it a bit on this occation?

Got caught by a camera last time I was in Germany aswell, but only 30 km over the limit so i figured i can safely archive the fine in the bin. I'm definitely feeling a lot more uneasy this time around

You have to pay somewhere between 240 to 600€ depending on how fast you acctually drove.

240€ for 51-60 kph to fast
440€ for 61-70 kph to fast
600€ for 70+ kph to fast

Also dont know if u live in germany etc. so there is also the possibility for 1 to 3 month license suspension and 4 points in Flensburg.

Why don't you just stick a sock in it, wtf do you know about what kind of risk I imposed on myself or others. I was coming out of a no limit zone at 4AM and had the road completely to myself. I started breaking a little bit later than I should have, but I would never have gambled with anyone's safety. I've driven hundreds of thousands of km and never caused a critical situation, so f*** off.

Alright thanks MHL. I don't live in Germany and don't hold a German license, do you think they'll make any effort to get my Norwegian license suspended? I might be best off just paying both the fines to get the German authorities out of my hair, or what do you think?

I think the worst that can happen is that you are not allowed to drive in germany for 1 to 3 month but can still drive in every other country.

There were plans for a EU law, that if you loose your license in one EU country you are not allowed to drive in all EU countries. But as far as i know this plans are stopped for the moment.

Yeah i would just pay the fine and wait what else is coming. Otherwise there would be a lot of trouble if the police in germany would controle you in the future.

well i think lifetime i am about breakeven now in all in EV, but have run super bad the last year or so whilst running ahead of EV.

realised that all in EV isn't that important really. like i was still doing pretty well whilst being stuck 88 buyins in EV, but had numerous breakeven months since where i have been quite alot ahead of EV etc

Yeah EV is quite a small fraction of overall luck. Much more important is whether you're running into the wrong end of opponents (or your own) ranges. If you snap call some guy's shove with top pair and he has a gutshot and makes it, that's unlucky, but no unluckier than running into him having a set instead, or not being able to make the call yourself because you happen to have the small part of your range that you're folding to a shove. I've recently made a resolution to not look at my EV anymore, because all it does is foster unhealthy thought patterns.

would be good if everyone could follow the 6m table starting etiquette as established here:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/19...quette-803968/

dont really want to wait ages for a table to fill and have a shortstacking reg sit at my left or right when there are other free seats
