Two summaries, one player... I've split my ipoker sessions in two parts - the normal, sane <12 hour sessions, and the long, spewy >12 hour ones. Not surprisingly the shorter ones were more profitable, but this is just bat****ing insane Basically I've thrown nine months' work in the bin by spewing all over the place while chasing losses.

Ofcourse these stats are skewed by the fact that most of my long sessions start with an initial loss. But even when taking this into account, I must have wasted at least $80k by playing while it's obvious I shouldn't. It's not exactly rocket science either, just simply quitting after six hours when I'm stuck could potentially have saved me an amount in that region.

But hey, self control is an integral part of being a good player. I guess I'm not any better than my results indicate

playing when stuck is probably my biggest leak, too.

i've had 2 5digit loosingsessions last couple of months, just because i didnt quit and kept runnin into coolers or spewing my chips away, trying to fold out an obvious holding...

every time you have such a session, its automatic 10k hands BE, unless you catch a heater

my biggest leak is the fact i play less than anyone who is a pro on midsatkes ipoker, my 2nd biggest leak being when i play those hrs i play terrible cos i am terrible, pretty bad leak if u ask me

i also got the goat leak, never plays sessions over 1.5h (unless i'm stuck, when they might reach close to 2h) and i don't play alot of sessions either. i have 2-3 months during my career over 40k hands and maybe 7-8 over 30k. that's pretty poor for a full time pro which i've been since i finished my engineering education 08 (part time pro since 06). atleast goat got those sick 100k+ hands months earlier.

yeah back in the old days i was super grinder, maybe it burnt me out playing 16 tables for 16 hrs a day 20 days straight! did ship $20 000 in a rake race though, good times!
