Two summaries, one player... I've split my ipoker sessions in two parts - the normal, sane <12 hour sessions, and the long, spewy >12 hour ones. Not surprisingly the shorter ones were more profitable, but this is just bat****ing insane
Basically I've thrown nine months' work in the bin by spewing all over the place while chasing losses.
Ofcourse these stats are skewed by the fact that most of my long sessions start with an initial loss. But even when taking this into account, I must have wasted at least $80k by playing while it's obvious I shouldn't. It's not exactly rocket science either, just simply quitting after six hours when I'm stuck could potentially have saved me an amount in that region.
But hey, self control is an integral part of being a good player. I guess I'm not any better than my results indicate
