Just want to repeat there is a group of players with identical characteristics, playing 5/10 almost exclusively, on Full Tilt as well. All from either Italy or New Zealand AFAIK.

i don't really see it as suspicious, they obviously have all learned a similar style.

i think they play pretty badly as a whole, but well enough, or rather weird enough that people can get crushed by them if they play them incorrectly

I'm Australian myself and I'm unaware of any training site that teaches this style, or any general links between the Australian/Italian poker communities.

Also, one of their quirks (and I can't remember if this applies to all of them), is that they don't auto-reload. Definitely several of the FTP players and a lot of the iPoker players in this group don't use the auto-reload function.

Is that really part of their learned "style"? I'm not one to jump on conspiracy bandwagons but something doesn't seem right here.

is it possible to turn off the info about leaderboards, tournaments and what not which pops up from time to time and cover the cards and stack sizes for the top player

That one hand posted where one of them check/calls every street with 43o while sitting in and out every 2nd hand seems pretty conclusive evidence for that imo.

I've played a lot with the FTP players mentioned and I don't think anything that you guys are suggesting is evidence that they are bots. I also agree that while they are pretty terrible, if you don't make proper adjustments they will probably rape you.

I'm not saying they aren't bots but I don't think just the fact that a bunch of players play the same unorthodox style is any evidence of anything improper. The 34o is definitely suspect, but I don't think you need a lot more then one hand. Wouldn't be the first time someone made two awful calls with a gutshot and misclicked the river.

Ok, after looking through my database for the last 3 months I have found 55 of these players.
Any others that I have missed?

All of them having 1kNL as their main game, none of them having played any significant number of hands lower than 400NL.

Do you really think these are 55 real players, all jumping straight to 1kNL?

Is there a way to make it so auto post only makes you post if you're actually in the blinds? It's got to be one of the most annoying things to sit out, then back in only to post in some random position just b/c auto post is checked. Also really blows that you have to actually pay attention to when the blind comes around after hitting wait for BB.

when its first brought up everyones a little cagey, then more and more information gathers and in the end we all realise its sick and true

KillBauer contacted me today after I wrote that he scammed me and tried to say he was innocent (without wanting to show any kind of proof whatsoever). Quite sick that he belives that he can still get money out of me when it's so ****ing obvious that he's a scammer and we both know it.

no he didnt own the ipoker account

he made numerous accounts on 2+2 using what i guess to be regs names so that he could say to people like me oh ive played you before
