My meal plan is quite simple. For the past 25+ years I have had 2 breakfast choices. One is 16 oz skim milk, 1 cup uncooked oats, 2 scoops protein, natty pb or banana depending on how wild I am feeling (blended obv). I have this around 50% of the time...either too lazy to cook a bunch of eggwhites or in a rush. I have come to quite enjoy it. will prolly have it for the rest of my life.

My comment wasn't based on eating the same thing every day (I actually do that most of the time), it was based on the fact that most people eat X when they are trying to lose weight then once they've lost what they want, they change their eating habits to Y (essentially dieting vs lifestyle change). And that could cause weight gain because people sometimes don't realize how much Y>X in caloric intake.

With meal replacement shakes, it can be even worse because many don't understand how to make healthy food and sub them in when they are getting off the shakes, so once they're done using them, they go back to eating unhealthy.

It was just a suggestion on my part because many don't know what they're doing. Turtle said he knows what he's doing.

I'll get off this particular shake eventually. But I'll be hard pressed to move away from doing a simple shake(making my own) for a meal or two a day. Shakes are simply very convenient and I enjoy not having to worry about what to cook or when to cook.

Def agree. If I could use our blender at 6am without waking the entire house, I'd have more smoothie type shakes for breakfast

Food log today very boring. Ended up doing two meal replacement shakes. On the road and feeling terrible. Managed to get in a bike ride and my PT and had a calorie count under 2k for the day.

DC4T, try a muscle relaxant. That should resolve whether it is just a pulled muscle fairly quicky.

Road trips call for health bar meals, avoid any that look suspiciously like candy bars.

Muscle relaxer helped for me too but I am hesitant to suggest drugs to people I don't know well / know their history

One week in (Thursdays will be my weigh in days)

Starting weight 242
Current weight 241

Probably just water/food digestion variance. I've eaten like crap. Only exercised once. Was going to ride bike to gym and get a membership today, but had two flat tires. Straight to poker room instead.

I've got a supply of muscle relaxers (gf is a vet tech) and that's a good start. Went to the doctor today and they don't seem to think it's much other than a strain.

Dying to get back in the gym, hoping Monday is enough time to get the back in shape

I'm on a bulk cycle, having bottomed out at 182 at Easter. For the past two weeks I eat everything in sight and resumed creatine. I believe I am knocking on the door of 190 and will shoot for 200.

Many food pics which will undoubtedly cure some of your desire to eat.

Better than most of the strat threads...

1 1/2 bad days:

Pizza for lunch yesterday as part of farewell tour for co-worker
Chipotle post gym
Bbq brisket sandwich for lunch today but only 1/2 the fries...

Probably going to hit the gym tonight and eat a tiny dinner/breakfast and lunch tomorrow
