Squid, on the real I think you said it was possible for you to get us a private table at the V. Can you get the ball rolling on this? I will come up with a date to do this and let you know. We will probably want a low stakes (1/1, or less if possible) table where we can switch the game up if we want to. The purpose of the game is to get drunk and take each others manies, but not bust each others rolls.

Take out a loan and play poker for a living. This will get you to LV. How hard can it be really?

I talked to someone who's in the know, she was a Poker Room manager at the V for 7 years, and still is in good with all the current managers.
There's a good chance that we can't get a 50c/$1 or less game no matter what at the V, but we likely can get a $1/$1 game.

It won't be private though.
Private games are not allowed at the V. (We can get private tournaments, but that wouldn't really suit our purposes.)

It was actually suggested to me that we might be better of renting a dealer for a few hours and playing somewhere that we an find a table. We can rent a dealer likely for $40/hour or less if we just pay them straight up, and we an skip the tips / rake we'd be paying at any casino. Or rent one for $5-$10/hour and tip them per pot, or whatever. Obv we'd have to find a place that we'd be happy playing though.
