I know you think I'm the scammer but you're going to have to look at this differently if you want to get anywhere with it. In response to your points:

As I mentioned earlier in this thread I wake up every weekday between 6 and 7am (especially at this time of year when it's light at 6am) and pretty much everyday I pick up my phone, check my email, read the news and look at 2+2as sad as that may sound.
Every time I look at 2+2 I do the same thing - I go to 'latest' threads and then the ones I've 'participated' in.....which are always the same threads. On this occasion this thread was at the top which is one I've never seen before which is why it caught my attention. The fact that you had posted a few minutes earlier, while suspicious to you, is purely coincidence and until you see it that way I don't know what else to tell you.
- sqwerty12 said he suspected someone was using his account days ago claiming that was messsages sent to me. In my first reply I said I thought that message was to you. I was typing on my phone at the time and couldn't check without closing the reply I was typing. After I replied and went back and checked I then told you it was in fact to KeysToTheCity and not you. When in fact it was only sent probably like an hour ago at the point of posting. There seems to be too many panick answers on his part. There aren't panic answers. I've tried to be as clear as I can in an effort to help you.
"Hang on a minute here. This is the real sqwerty12. I didn't post that and I contacted the mods a few days ago to tell them I have a PM in my outbox (to you I think) that I did not send. I have a reply from Mat Sklansky explaining what I need to do.
I'm not a scammer. I don't even know exactly what the scam is but obviously someone is using my account." This is my first post in this thread not the Skype one. I didn't post the Skype one, the hacker did. I haven't thought too much about why he would post that but that is what has happened. If you can make sense of that then good luck to you.
- why is a guy having so many multiple accounts in the first place? I don't have multiple accounts that I use at the same time. I've had a number of accounts over the years, some for fun, and I used this one a while back when there was some site-wide hacking issue (I can't even remember what it was now but it was a few years ago) and I couldn't use my sqwerty12 account. FWIW I've never seen having multiple accounts on a chat website (which is all I've ever used 2+2 as as being an issue). Maybe it is for reasons that are occurring here but I've never really given it much thought.
- also when he first replied to the allegations he said
"This is not my skype?!" and he subsequently claims that he does that a skype account This is the post that I did not make. This is from the hacker. Make of that what you can.
- I understand there was at least one more poster (Markie123) who received a similar type of message and sqwerty12 could just easily claim that his account got hacked and try to pull this off on other posters without any repercussion. I guess that could happen but I don't really know how I can help you with that (or if it's even damning?).
- Mods is it possible to track the ip address logged in when the PMs were sent? It could tell a lot if the ip locations are actually the same I'm happy for them to check. I don't know the first thing about tracking ip's. I can tell you that the majority of my posts are from my iphone, some are at work and the rest are from home. FWIW since my account has been banned I can't even open 2+2(let alone log-in) on my work computer which is frustrating.

i would guess that mat sklansky - as the head of the whole site - isn't quite as familiar with our specific hsnl xfer thread procedures here - i will run this by him to double check on stuff.
we try to keep noobs and new traders out of this thread, so that it's just for people with lots of previous trading experience/high rep etc. i was just getting ready to delete kingsonpoker's original post and then i scrolled down to see all of the scam/aftermath stuff. part of the reason we try to keep new folks out of here is to protect them as well as the community.
however, we can't protect everyone, especially if people aren't using best practices. here, both sides can do things a lot better in future (stronger internet security knowledge and precautions, more verification and skepticism when setting up a trade, etc). you guys will both likely be targets again in the future (that's how the scammers operate) so i suggest you work extra hard to be safer and more careful going forward.
sqwerty - usually we are okay with people making a brand new account once we've banned their old one for being compromised. i'm more than a little worried that the account you're currently on could have already been compromised as well, or is at risk in the future. my inclination is to ban it as well. i'd be fine with you making a brand new account and putting 'formerly sqwerty12' in the 'location' section if you wanted to.
i'll send you and kingsonpoker a PM as well. feel free to message me with any questions or post em here in the thread. sorry this happened to both of you.
ok thank you. In light of your comment and that odd post above I will make a new account (in the next day or so).

I simply searched the latest threads sqwerty made and found this thread.

Anyone who is doing these trades should be doing these simple checks and when a Skype name has no relation to the person your meant to be trading with its a clear red flag.
Sqwerty clearly owes him zero and kingsonpoker should do his homework better.
thanks for that by the way.
I did play the Main last year and am doing so in 2016 also. Was going to seek backing again then too but I guess that might be a problem now since my account is gone. As per last year l'll still play regardless.
