The "thinking player" who opens KJ-K9 for 5xbb UTG+1 in a 10-handed game and calls a 3-bet from the blinds with likely flop SPR = 1.8? That thinking player?

As far as I can tell, people are just systematically refusing to acknowledge that, even with SPR = 1.8, QQ will have negative expectation on postflop action here vs. ONLY a reasonable UTG+1 defense range {QQ-TT, AK #27}. (If UTG+1 slowplays KK+, it's really bad.) We may be slightly ahead of UTG+1's flop calling range if he doesn't fold TT to a 1/3 psb (he probably should), but since he's never folding AK, we cannot win money postflop here.

Ok, so maybe BTN is always calling off what's left with every pocket pair but never bluffing, and that makes betting better, but in general we are just behind here, and there's nothing we can do about it.

Bet standard $100 OTF. If raised, easy fold. If just called, ship turn. MO.

to minimize their exploitation of us check folding such a strong hand on a dirty flop we need to be check calling our value range often for them to not use position and get a lot more info on our range by bet/folding.
