lol wow i'm stupid, there is a very simple bug that i missed in the Nova settings. i will fix it in the next update, but i cannot guarantee when that will be. my hard drive has died so i have to fix my computer

for now, using another table theme with the appropriate SaT settings should fix it

Greg whats the best number to give too old tables so if i sit out the table pops to a free slot?

you have to test it for yourself, i think it depends upon the game type and how long your opponents take to act

if you put it too low, the only bad thing is that tables will pop out before you have really sat out. perhaps one hand takes a really long time because a guy is slow to act or stalling in a tournament. in that case, the table will be seen as 'Old' simply because the time has elapsed because players took too long to finish their hand.

if you put it too long, then if you get sat out, you may miss a hand or two before the duration elapses.

so honestly i cannot say for sure. i would try maybe between 3-5 minutes and then monitor what happens myself during the session and tweak it for next time

Greg. Im a HU player, imagine i want to play HU cash and HUSNGS at the same time. For hu cash all i want to do is open a lot of HU cash tables where im sitting first and wait for an opponent.

Logically, i'd like that all those empty tables im waiting for an opponent ( "Inactive" tables ), dont want them to annoy me so I want them to be treated as inactive and be able to group them in a stack or whatever away of my standard "2x2 tiled grid".

But here comes the thing. Can I interact with both groups? HUSNGS would be always in the 2x2 tiled grid (everytime one opens, they are always active). But cash tables i would only want them in the 2x2 grid when they are ACTIVE, and when they are inactive, they would go to another slot.

Is this actually possible with your program? I read on the faq that you can sepparate "inactive" from "active" but also read that if you sit first it cant determine that.. any way you can come up with a solution for me? It would be super helpful for me, just renewed SAT subscription so would be nice if I can get the max out of it.

it may be possible with the current functionality. but your 2x2 tiled grid would only allow you to play 4 tables max? how do you plan to handle that?

well, its very rare i get more action than 4 tables, i would just put slot 5 6 7 8 etc under 4 probably for "emergencies", thats the least important part, as long as what i said is possible im more than happy . Obv i dont want to cap slots if theres a exceed of tables. How do you think i could achieve the layout i described? I tried already and when i open sit a table with no opponents it doesnt make it inactive instantly, nor do i know how to sepparate two layouts for "inactive" and "active" and make those inactive ones come into the active ones once activated.

Maybe if you make a hotkey where i can "unactivate" a table of choice (instead wait X seconds for auto doing it), that would make all perfect. I would open a cash table, then "unactivate" it and wait for an opponent to sit, these tables stay in the "non active" layout. Once the opponent sits its automatically active, when he leaves, ill "unactivate" it again and all solved.

What you think?

edit: what i mean with "unactive" is what you mean as "Old Tables" on your FAQ. Just in case. Also maybe if you can PM me to talk this privately or send skype.. dont want to flood forum with my request

well actually i dont fully understand what you mean by 'active' and 'inactive' tables. i dont believe it is the same as Old Tables. SaT works by checking if it is your turn to act on the table. if you watch the demo video, all tables are placed into the stack, and then when it is your turn to act, the table is moved into the grid.

from your description i think this is what you want. so i would say that you simply put all your cash HU tables in the stack. you can use a "stack table" hotkey to move them there. they will stay there until it is your turn to act. when someone sit, then it will be your turn to make a decision, and the table will move into the grid. when they leave, you can put it back in the stack.

you will also need to turn off "mouse left click detection" in advanced options. that option will automatically send the table back to the stack from the grid every time you click Fold. it doesn't sound like you want this.

you would also want to turn off Old Tables, because Old Tables will move a table out of the stack and into the grid automatically after X minutes of non-action. this is a sort of "sittingout" helper, but not exactly. but since your HU tables might not get action for hours, you dont want those tables popping out of the stack to be deemed "Old"

see if that works. alternatively you can use an "ignore table" hotkey to remove a table completely from SaT's control, which is another option

Emotionx, this is how I have one of my layouts which may help you out. All you need to do is add a third slot below (or anywhere you want really) and have that as the slot where new tables sit. If you use the fold+stack hotkey when an opponent sits down and the table will more to your stack. You will have to do this for every table that starts since that is where they will all go at first but is not a big deal. I do this for Lock sngs since they require me to hit the "take my seat" button. Once you move a table out of the new table slot the tables will move from stack to slot 2. Gl!

and no other slots other than one stack? yeah, just use the "stack tables" play mode, that should do it

and turn off each site's "pop tables to top" option within their client

only issues if you dont understand which program is taking control of the hotkeys and/or table activation.

I recently got a mod for BWIN (Belgian Party) from Pastore here on 2p2, and I tried to set it up on SaT by creating it as a custom site using the wizard. Everything seemed fine but when I try to run SaT, I get the msg: failure, name of table, does not match for this site. The mod doesnt work with SaT when I choose the embedded Party Poker option either. Any ideas?

Yes it happens when I try to include the site (after i press F9). The error is the same whether I try including the mod as the embedded Party or as my custom site.

Hi Greg! When playing on Bodog or Microgaming (custom) the tables pop up when the pre action check boxes show up, before action is actually on me. Is there a setting I am missing? The pre action boxes are the same color as the fold button if that helps. Thanks!

what do the mods do to the tables? are they changing more than the graphics? does it change the table or lobby title messages?

unfortunately there is nothing to be done unless you can mod your tables to change those colors. if the colors are the same, then SaT thinks the actual fold button is visible because the color matches

this is also a problem on WinningNetwork and also on PokerStarsHyperSimple. i am looking into alternative workarounds but so far there are none that i am happy with

it doesn't change any of the things you mentioned. also, i get the same error after uninstalling the mod and using the normal bwin table theme with the embedded "PP Modern" on SaT.

ok if the built in settings are failling, then there is definitely an issue

my new guess is that it has nothing to do with the mod. perhaps the BWIN skin just isn't matching.

can you use the secret hotkey within SaT: CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + T

mouse over the BWIN lobby and press that hotkey while SaT is open. it will copy the title of the window to the clipboard. then come back and paste.

ahhh, ok the problem is the belgium version of the site.

remove the last two lines in your custom config, and replace them with these:

then restart SaT and try to Include Site
