PokerStars Hyper Simple

Edit: Temporary fix. My monitor is 1920 1080. 6 tables tiled works fine. 8/12 tables tiled produces that error. 8/12 uses the same length/width.

the issue is described on the help page:
http://www.stackandtile.com/sat/help/pokerstars

you either need to use a different theme or modify the HyperSimple pre-action checkboxes

I have had SaT (free version)working in the past but when i tried it now it is not recognising any tables (all Pokerstars). I tried re-building the layout but it makes no difference.
Is there something i am missing?

Could it be to do with running it on 2 computers? I ran it on the computer in my office and it worked fine, but at home it's not working. I want to use it for my wekend grind.

Hrmmm
well i just tested it on my machine and it worked fine. two computers should not be an issue.

you are on the latest SaT version? are you running it as admin?

are you using a custom site or something? cause the built in Stars settings should work. sorry just saw that this problem is on both Stars and FTP for you. that is a clue that there is something wrong in general with your whole setup.

i'm trying to think of anything else that i can... so when you say 'not recognized', does that mean that the table counts on the main tab dont show anything? do hotkeys work on any of the tables?

are these tournaments or cash? real money?

Yeah the count shows as 0 table in stack and 0 tables in grid.

I have been playing 0.25 45 man sit and goes, but while i have been trying to get it to work i have also tried it with some play money sit and goes and it does not reconise any of them.

hrmmm, it could be a problem with the tournament buy-in detection

can you try on micro stakes cash tables?

play money probably won't work since there is no real buy-in amounts

ok, heres what i want you to do

there is a built in secret hotkey in SaT: CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + T

that hotkey will copy the window title and class to the clipboard. so, click on the sng windows that don't work, press that hotkey, and come back here and paste the results. do that for both stars and ftp tables are the failing

Here are some of the Pokerstars ones, but it seems to be all tournaments that are not recognised. (thanks for your help by the way).

When I use the hot key to fold my hand, the tables are staying tiled instead of going back into the stack. This is also happening after a play a hand to showdown. Any reason for this to be happening?

Thanks in advance.

The 'Fold' hotkey in SaT will only click the fold button

You would need to use 'Fold+Stack' if you want the stacking action as well.

Are there any performance fixes for XP users? I'm getting stack to grid delays and it hurts the time bank each time. Thanks in advance.

The bottleneck with WinXP is that each time SaT scans the table, it has to copy the entire graphics of the table into memory and then look for the Fold button, which takes a decent amount of time in computing terms. Whereas with newer Windows with Aero/DWM turned on, all of those graphics are already accessible.

You can try speeding up SaT's engine speed, by adding this line to your layout config file by clicking File -> Current Layout. add this on a new line, directly under the [settings] heading at the top:

Code:
engine_delay=300
the default delay is 600ms when using WinXP and Scan Mode=PW in SaT, so using 300 is in effect is doubling the speed that SaT scans.

maybe that will help a little.
