Site is down so my SaT can'tvalidate the license

i wasn't sure whether or not this setting would be popular, so for now i just added it as an option that you have to manually add to your layout ini file (File->Current Layout). its just one line that you need to add:

the setting is 'number of milliseconds' so the example above would delay 2 seconds. save file, restart sat

what do you think about setting this to 1 or 2 seconds by default? i think the majority would want to watch the showdown briefly before restacking, maybe that would reduce the need for the setting?

If that's easier to implement would be a better default setting for sure. Was thinking I'd set it to 2 seconds or so myself.

i like to try to make decisions for the user and have good default settings, so that the average person doesn't need to make too many settings changes. plus, the advanced options dialog is getting kinda cluttered, and there are still more 'extra options' not even documented on the site

I could be wrong as I've only been experimenting with it to date, but I think Party Poker has updated and the Modern Theme no longer works with SaT.

isn't fixed for me,i always missing 2-3 slots when i try to make a new layout with visualizegrid,fortunately it worked the first time i used stackandtile,so that i can still use this nice prog,but would be nice if i could make a new layout in the future

Visualize Grid is not used to make new layouts, but rather to re-position your existing layout's slots. as for missing slots, this should only happen if SaT gets confused with multiple monitors. you can use the '-' button to remove the slots down to the # that you can see, and then use the '+' button to add them back. then use 'visualize grid' to place them.

if you need to make a new layout with a different table size, you should use File -> New Layout

i did just want a program that could tile it for me but looks like with this one you have to stack also

you don't have to stack if you don't want to. you can use this to tile only. in fact, i should put up instructions on the website for this:

use Tile Setting = Never
set up a hotkey to "Tile All Tables"
set up a hotkey to "Keep All Tables in Grid"

that should do it i think

I have a problem which I don't think I had with previous releases.

Say for example I am using a 4 slot grid with a 5th slot for the stack. Let's say a new table is opened but the whole grid is full. That table is not registered as recognised until I manually put it back into the stack. That table will never pop up when the action is required on me.

I remember in this situation before the tables would be queued and then the new tables would be moved into the grid as I removed the existing ones.

Just downloaded the trial of this looks good.

One issue i have had. My tables seem to be popping out of the stack as soon as the cards are dealt on my tables and not when its my turn to act specificly. Having read the tutorial i assumed they would only pop out once it was my turn to act?

it sorta makes sense. what is your desired outcome? is it what you mentioned at the end? you want the tables to 'wait' and move to the grid when an open slot occurs? and you're saying it currently does not do this?

yes, what you've read is correct.

what site are you playing on? this problem can occur on some random sites such as TruePoker or PokerStarsHyperSimple. best to check here for any notes first:

usually the problem happens because the pre-action checkboxes are the same color as the actual Fold button. so SaT 'thinks' the Fold button is visible when in fact it is not, only the checkbox is.

does Visualize Grid not show them?

Yes how I mentioned at the end. Dunno why, but I was pretty sure it used to recognise the tables and dump them in the grid once an open slot occurs. But for reason, since the last update (that I've noticed anyway) the new table just gets ignored until I fold to stack or sth.

i've tested it and confirm the bug. it worked as you mentioned in the versions before the big 2.1 update. this is what caused it:

"- changed: New tables moved to 'grid' will also be counted as 'New' instead of only 'Tiled' "
