PokerTracker 4 supports up to PostgreSQL version 10 so I recommend that or version 9.6. If you use newer versions of PostgreSQL you may find that they do not work reliably with PokerTracker 4.

A PokerTracker 5 release is planned but I don't know if/when that will be.

Do you know what kind of issues I would run into running it on 12.5+? I'm running PT4 on a remote database and the the only option im geting is for postgresql 12+ since they seem to be fazing out the older versions of postgres

I like to do screenshots of the hands I later want to analuze using HRC and/or Icmizer. It helps to know exact chip counts, number of players left, and bounties, structures for ICM calculators.
Anyway to integrate that in PT4- for example you click the screenshot button and it attaches to that hand history. Or add ability to attach screenshot to hand history.

PostgreSQL changes some functionality between major versions so you might experience performance, stability, and/or other database issues. Also with the newest PostgreSQL versions PokerTracker 4 might not be able to even connect to PostgreSQL at all.

Was playing MTT using Ignition card catcher PT4 HUD worked fine but one I hit Final Table it stopped working. No HUD and hands not tracked. Tried to restart Card catcher but nothing.

Which card catcher are you using? Did it generate a hand history file for any of the hands played on the final table?

this happens to me almost everytime, but I'm currently using Holdem Manager, it has to be something with the card catcher but I'm not sure what it is. I just know that I won't have a HUD on a FT :\

This is a PokerTracker 4 support thread but you can find the Holdem Manager support thread here.

I asked which card catcher you were using and if it generated the hand histories for the final table? Is it the one integrated in Holdem Mangaer or was it provided by a third party? If it didn't generate the hand histories then things wouldn't work. If the hands were not generated at all then you would need to contact the support of the relevant card catcher. If the hand histores were generated but Holdem Manager didn't import them then open a Support Ticket and attach the hand history file.

You can duplicate the existing statistic and then edit it accordingly for the groupings you want. See this guide for the basics on custom statistics creation and this guide for a deeper walkthrough.

Ive just updated to the latest version of pt4 and now my ipoker hands are not being imported. Is it possible to roll back to the previous version?

I haven't seen any other similar reports so please enable logging, reproduce this problem and then send your log file to us in a Support Ticket. You can access the 'Logs' folder with the log file by clicking 'File --> Open User Data Folder' in the main PokerTracker 4 window and the file we need is the text file called 'PokerTracker4' or 'PokerTracker4.log' that is in that folder.

You can download PokerTracker v4.15.37 from here (change the link extension from .exe to .dmg if you are on a Mac).

I can't get PTR4 to work with my iPoker skin (William Hill). I had no issues with HEM2, but PTR4 can't seem to locate any file where the HHs might be stored. I have tried everything suggested in the configuration guide, as well as manually copying and pasting the file locations used by HEM 2 into PTR4, all to no avail.

Was looking for range visualation tools working with downloaded Bovada hands( all hole cards) not by player( they all anonymous) but based on possition.
Is such visualation possible?

Make sure you are using the latest version of PokerTracker 4 otherwise please enable logging, reproduce this problem and then send your log file to us in a Support Ticket. You can access the 'Logs' folder with the log file by clicking 'File -> Open User Data Folder' in the main PokerTracker 4 window and depending on your Windows settings it will be a text file called 'PokerTracker4' or 'PokerTracker4.log'.

That's not possible using the Holdem Hand Range Visualizer report but you can view the hole cards for the population in a custom 'All Players' report:

To view the known cards and frequencies for the population remove the 'Player' stat and add 'Hole Cards' in its place along with any other stats/filters you want such as 'Position'.

Can we export multiple hand histories without player names and only player possitions(instead of names it would say LJ, HJ, CO, BTN, SB, BB)?

Is anyone else having issues where the Ignition Hand Grabber misses the last hand of a tournament? Is there something I need to do to pick up that hand?

Can you please send a sample of the grabbed hands from these tournaments to us in a Support Ticket. By default PokerTracker 4 moves your auto-imported files to your 'Processed' folder which you can access via the 'File -> Open User Data Folder' option.

You can transfer your existing poker data using backup & restore - see this guide:

Hi Rob,

I want to collect hands as I play but not have the HUD show. I have been using the hide hud on this table option, but as I play zoom and rathole, I have to do this 5-10 times a session, is there a setting to make the HUD defaultly not showing.

There isn't an option to not have the HUD start after selecting 'Play Poker -> Get Hands While Playing' although you can create a blank HUD and set that as required via 'HUD > Edit HUD Options > Profile Select'.
