Hi there,

I see from your previous responses that you do not yet have a solution for the PokerStars All-in Cash-out issue.

I had 1 hand that was a very large pot that I was getting errors on importing in. Something that worked for me was to edit the hand history to remove all mention of the Villain availing of the cash-out. I had to delete one line and then remove the end of another line. After that I was able to manually import the hand successfully.

Just in case anyone else wanted a quick and dirty fix.

I have 2 questions:

1. Is PT4 updated to track SNG's on WPN? (My HUD works when playing SNG's but does not track results)

2. When posting Hand Histories to 2+2, I'd like to include HUD stats for players. Is there a way to do this? (again this is for WPN player)

1. WPN do not currently provide tournament summary information but you can update the information manually in PokerTracker 4. You can also send us a sample of your tournaments in a Support Ticket so we can see if enough information is there for the tournament detection rules to be updated.

2. In the 'Hand History Viewer' you can enable statistics (VPIP/PFR/3Bet/Hands) when copying hand details to the clipboard via 'Options -> Copy Options -> Include Basic Player Stat Values at Time of Hand'.

Hi Rob, than you for answering my questions.
In the copy options I have the "include basic player stat values at time of hand" checked, and below is what comes out. It is not showing HUD stats.

Yatahay Network - $0.02 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 144.5 BB
Hero (UTG): 100 BB
MP: 185.5 BB
CO: 107.5 BB
BTN: 100 BB
SB: 158 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 5 5

Hero raises to 4 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, BB calls 3 BB

Flop: (8.5 BB, 2 players) 7 K Q
BB checks, Hero checks

Turn: (8.5 BB, 2 players) K
BB checks, Hero bets 4 BB, BB calls 4 BB

River: (16.5 BB, 2 players) 4
BB checks, Hero checks

If you copy from the clipboard directly into an empty text document like NotePad can you let me know if the HUD stats are specified there or not.

You will not get statistics using the raw hand history option as that just provides a copy of the original hand history file from the poker site. I am seeing the stats with my own sample of WPN hands when using the clipboard or forum options so can you please open a Support Ticket and attach a sample of your hand histories (the original files themselves and not what's been copied from PokerTracker 4).

Support is planned for the next update but I don't have an ETA for that however if you would like to have access to a pre-release version with support then you can let us know via a Support Ticket.

Is there an easy way to purge duplicate hands in a database (Hands that are identified by the same value in the "Hand #" field)?

Where exactly are you seeing those? Are you seeing warnings while importing or are you actually seeing the duplicated hands in the database? Duplicate hands shouldn't actually exist in the database since PokerTracker 4 skips them while importing. When doing a reimport of large numbers of hand history files it's not unusual to get some number of duplicates but if you are seeing duplicates while auto-importing that could indicate a configuration issue.

Also if you are seeing duplicated hands in a report that can happen when you add statistics to a particular type of report. For example the 'Play Poker -> Hands Summary' report contains statistics that are specific to each hand but if you add a statistic to that report that is specific to a player (e.g. amount won) then each individual hand in the report will be split into multiple lines so it can display that stat from the perspective of every player dealt into the hand.

No warnings, this happened due to a hand reimport (the HHs were tagged with a different site) so the hands are actually in the database.Otherwise PT4 is working fine.

I'm seeing these in a report but it's a custom report (albeit a very simple one).

Is one or both of those hands from a third party hand converter(s)? If you have been provided hands from an unsupported site in the format of two different sites then any duplicate hands wouldn't get rejected as a result. If you want to remove any hands from your database then you would have to purge the relevant session(s)/tournament(s):

Hi there, I got a message in my GGpoker account saying that hand histories are downloadable now in text format. I've downloaded a bunch of hands to my desktop and then imported them into my PT4. The import worked and the hands went in but then when I searched for my hands in PT4, I can't find them anywhere. I'm guessing that it's PT4's job now to allow imports and for the hands to be found? If anyone has any info about this, let me know please. Thanks!

PokerTracker 4 doesn't support GGPoker so I wouldn't expect that to happen unless they have used the format of another site or a standardised format which is supported. If you are sure they have imported into PokerTracker 4 then please send your sample to us in a Support Ticket.

All PokerStars clients use the same software so if your PokerStars client isn't currently being detected by PokerTracker 4 you can manually configure your hand history folder in 'Configure -> Sites & Import Options -> Site Configuration -> PokerStars'. Use 'Add' to select where PokerStars is saving your hands instead of 'Auto Detect':

PokerStars Configuration Guide

If you need further assistance with that let us know in a Support Ticket.

If you mean the new format of .log files that Partypoker are sending out to players on request then the development team are reviewing the possibility of adding support for them. Open a Support Ticket if you want to be contacted if/when anything changes in this regard.

When will be the cash out feature supported by PT4? It is quite annoying to not be able to track these hands.

I don't have a specific date for the next update but you can access a pre-release version with support for cashout hands by opening a Support Ticket.

My PT4 crashed after the last update and I wasn't able to get it up & running again without going for an überclean re-install of PT4 & PostgreSQL. Now everything is back again, but with an empty DB of course. Until now, I only used PT4 to track my results and look at my graph and contemplate why I was running below EV.

Now it's time for a reboot but I want to know how to get the best out of PT4. What would be the best source/course to get this up & running and really get the most out of the program for a Spins & MTT player?

I personally don't play those games and I am not qualified enough to be giving you strategic advice so you would likely get better answers in this regard posting in a different sub-forum however there are plenty of built-in reports in PokerTracker 4 to review your poker data as well as the ability to filter data, tag/replay hands, build custom HUD profiles and the ability to create custom reports/statistics.

While using PokerTracker 4 there is also a video icon on various screens (the green "?" icon) and clicking that will play a short tutorial video based on the current section/report. You can also access the full library of tutorial videos here:

If you have any other questions on the technical aspects PokerTracker 4 you can let us know here, on our forums or in a Support Ticket.

Can anyone help me with regards to importing tournament hand histories from ignition? I simply want to add the downloaded files which contain the buy ins but are not recognized by pt. Is there any work-around I can do without just entering them all manually?
