Rvg, this software has already exceeded my expectations, kudos on that! One thing I was wondering was if we would be able to configure HM to process hand histories from sites, or if you have to do that on your end. I ask because I've begun to play at some small sites because the games are pretty good, but I have absolutely no ability to track my own play or my opponents'. Is it possible to have some kind of hand history processing template that we can use to add whatever sites we want in the future?

Me too! For the last bunch of released versions. Sometimes it'll load correctly and crash later though. Usually it's HMImport crashing. I'm using 64 bit windows xp. Also, my database is on another computer on the network, maybe it's a timing issue where the program can't pull it off the network quickly enough? If there's something I can do to help you track down the problem let me know.

feature request: ability to output hands as text in various cleaned up formats. e.g. one that is read to post on 2p2, or even just a nice text file (particularly necessary for ipoker where the online convertors have all got problems).

I really like the program so far. Is there anyway to analyze starting hands and how much money I have won or lost with specific preflop hands?

After reading many glowing reviews about the software, I decided to give it a try. I downloaded the program a few months ago but never bothered trying it. Now when I click on the old icon, it says the beta version has expired and dl a new version. I did and extracted both 0.50b full set up and patch 0.65 to RVG software folder. When I click on the HM icon, it gives me an error "HoldemPokerManager has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Am I doing something wrong? I also went to the HM site to see if there was sort of a tutorial section. I couldn't find any. Can someone help me plz? Thanks.

maybe you are using your old icon, which points to rvg software/Holdem Manager Beta instead of rvg software/Holdem Manager?

That might be the problem. I'm going to spend some time cleaning all of this up and improving the update process which is a bit of a pain right now.

I'd suggest uninstalling everything related to holdem manager then go into your program files\rvg software folder and deleting any holdem manager folders from there then do the full setup followed by downloading and unzipping the latest patch into the holdem manager folder overwriting the 2 files that are there.

I should have a nice new update either very late tonight or tomorrow and this will probably be the last update before the public beta of the HUD.

I'll be working on Ultimate Bet, OnGame and Prima .DAT file support over the next week or two.

regarding Prima Euro not importing, I know of a bug where if the file is > 6MB and contains Euro / Pounds then those hands will not import properly. So, short term you can manually split the file into smaller chunks. Let me know if that isn't the problem.

0.66b released at www.holdemmanager.net

Color coding stats on these windows (and other windows), better tourney support and of course HUD public beta is coming in the next update or two.

December 15th - 0.66b
* Added Player Details window that contains a huge amount of useful information about the player - this is far from complete but provides a very good start to this functionality
* Under the HUD options menu you can launch an Active Players Detail window which shows all players currently playing and clicking on a name gives you their detailed view
* In the Player Summary tab you can right click a player and popup a player detail window
* In the Vs Player tab you can now right click and select a player or right click and popup a player detail window
* You can right click the player name on the player filter bar on each tab and popup a player detail window
* Report rows where individual hands can not currently be grabbed will just clear out the hands list in the report instead of popping up an error message
* If you have a position filter the actual positions will be listed
* If you have a position of first limper, raiser or 3bet filter the actual positions will be listed
* If Auto Refresh Report on any Change is unchecked then tab data will not auto load when the tab is selected
* All session data now being made available to HUD
* Fixed bug in sessions tab that calculated the wrong total time spent for all sessions
* Typo: In the filter form there was an "open ended gutshot draw" but this should read "gutshot draw"
* If your holdemmanager.config files becomes unreadable or contains an error, instead of simply exiting, HM will now backup the file and create a new default holdemmanager.config file
* Fixed bug that would occur and cause an unhandled exception
* An "Auto Apply Filter Changes to All Tabs" option that makes HM behave the way it did before which was when you change a filter it will change for all tabs.

Wow, nice update. That window is awesome, and the right click in the player summary is also great. Further to that I have two more suggestions- under the "active players" I would have a list of active tables, mouse over each table for a list of the last ten hand histories popping out menu style to the right - histories with card symbols etc. Also, when this window is resized, I think it should work like a HUD works when you minimize a poker table ie closes in and the fonts getting smaller so the window content stays the same, just gets smaller- that way guys with one monitor can three table and have it in the spare quarter.

When I try to right click and use the players details function under the vs Players tab, I always get this error:

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue....... The given key was not present in the dictionary.

Also when I try to see my players detail under reports, it's blank and refreshing doesn't do anything.

I created an alias and attached my screen names from PS and FT to it. When I run a report it shows that I have played 75 hands at 10/20lim, 5700 hands at 6/12lim and 6700 hands at 4/8lim. I have never played these limits. Not sure from which site it is pulling these hands.

in the new update:

-Total Time in session tab is messed up, should be ~52 hours for me and says 3:04
-An annoyance for me is looking through hands and not having them in a logical card rank (under Holecard Reports)
-Under Preflop Cards tab, i'd like to see another window at the bottom of the lists that will show instances of AK or QQ or whatever for each situation when i highlight a hand from the current lists. (This would be very similar to Holecard Reports)

Thanks, fixed in 0.67b. For now you will need to use the Player Summary Tab to brig up the detail stats or use the Active Player window in the HUD menu in conjunction with the Auto Import.

You mean in the player details view? I know that this would happen if you are using an alias - still need to fix that. If it is blank in the actual Reports tab then check your filters again.

Can you right click on one of the hands from these limits and select copyt hand history to clipboard and then e-mail me the hand at tourneymgr@gmail.com. I'm guessing it is using the Big Bet not Big Blind for these hands for some reason.

I know these questions have probably been answered elsewhere within the 210 pages of this thread but:

Where can I download the beta version and is it Vista friendly?

What sites are currently supported?

My pokeroffice is being stubborn as hell since installed Vista so I think you've just found yourself another customer!
