After the update in the Tourney/Results/Data View window HOM shows me incorrect time of my played games. Everything was working fine before that.
How can you/I fix it?

thanks

I have had a couple sessions earlier and the problem seemed to be related to the older installations from 2009 and earlier that had upgraded. Try a clean reinstall:

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...o+Uninstaller+

1) Make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files.
2) Uninstall HM with www.revouninstaller.com using the Deep setting. You do not need to uninstall PostgreSQL.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, remove any registry entries and leftover files.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/Hol...ager_Setup.exe. You should un-check the PostgreSQL Option when running the combo installer.
6) Test if it for a while and see if it works

If you get it setup and working again you can just copy your old \config\prefs.xml file to restore your custom HUD.

If that doesn't help, or you are unable to do it for some reason, Please email me at fozzy@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so we can schedule a Teamviewer session. Download the Teamviewer Quick Support Module - http://www.holdemmanager.net/teamviewer. Please let me know what time zone you are in and what time/days are convenient for you. I schedule support from 12:00 - 22:00 EDT, 7 days a week.

Make sure you export any tourney results, custom huds, bonuses/rakeback, and hud notes also.

Export Your Notes - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/notes-02.jpg

Export Your Bonuses and Rakeback - Options > Rakeback & Bonuses - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/...bonuses-01.jpg

Export any tourney summaries by selecting all your tournaments in the Data View Sub-Tab of the Tourney > Results Menu and choose Export Tourney Results and summaries

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/...ta-view-01.jpg

Make sure you export any custom HUD layouts to your \Config folder and copy it for a backup. http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...ort+HUD+Layout

and finally:

Export your hands and then open the new database and import them into that - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...6+Export+Hands

Once the Hands are imported you can import the Tourney Results and Bonuses/Rakeback

It depends on how many hands, but yes. I usually suggest you just import the \HMArchive\2010 folder for this years hands so you can start playing with some data. Then import the rest before bed tonight.

Quote:

Did you copy/paste your old \Config folder contents to the new install? The \Config\prefs.xml file is what contains any/all of your custom HUDs and settings. If it looks OK, great. If you have problems double check the HUD Options > Player Preferences > Choose Configuration drop-down menu and the settings on the Use For sub-tab.

I would still import any results files you have. If you only play full tilt and are importing the archive folder you may not need to import those exported results but they shouldn't cause any problems to import and can only help correct the results if some are wrong.

The Import From Folder/File(s) methods are only for importing bulk and/or old hand histories. When using the manual methods HM does not archive those files.

Auto Import is used when playing to import the hands every 5 seconds and keep the HUD current. You need to make sure you setup/verify the settings in the Options > Configure Auto Import Folders settings. This is where HM checks every 5 seconds for new hands/files. After those files are 15 minutes old they are moved tot he \HMArchive for performance reasons. If they were to not be moved it woukld eventually create a huge workload for the HMImport every 5 seconds and the HUD would likely not appear at all.

Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere.

To verify the location: Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: ___________________

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...Import+Folders

The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

Thanks a lot fozzy you have been very helpful, i probably wont get around to seting up the autoimport stuff as i am still 10 hours away. im just wondering how to handle the major import i am doing. It says i have 10 hours to go and i am 10% done, i am currently at the office so i need to leave in a while, do i stop the import process then select that folder when i get home and it will pick up where it left off? or do i leave it importing and close my laptop so it goes into sleep mode while i am driving home?

Stop the import and do it again when you get home. It should recognize what it has and has not imported previously.

Hi, I have a feature request for HM/OM. I would like to be able to set a goal for the amount of money won on the session and day. When the goal is reached, I would like HM to popup a message or have some kind of notification in the hud. I realize that I can see the session winnings in the hud but I don't want to constantly check to see if I reached my goal. Also, a stop lost feature similar to the goal would also be nice. Thanks.

fozzy - I'm having Full Tilt problems since the update yesterday.

I downloaded and installed the latest version of HEM as instructed in this thread. I did this after I played ~500 or 600 hands. I've re-started my computer a couple times since then, and imported everything. My FT hand history folder shows empty, and HEM only shows 84 hands played yesterday.

Please help. Thanks.

We have a suggestions forum on our site - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/suggestions-forums/

There are 3rd party software options available. I believe there is a free AHK Script called StopLoss by _dave_. I am not sure if it is still functional or not, but a search of the software forum will tell you in short order.

There is another option called Tilt Demon that does what you are looking for I believe, along with many other things. Search the software forum for the associated thread.

Does every thing work when playing new hands? Are you playing Rush or regular cash games? Is the Table Manager opened? Check the System Tray in the lower right corner of your monitor for the orange block HM icon. If you don't see it go to your \RVG Software\Holdem Manager folder and try to manually open the HMHUD.exe file with a double-click.

I had a few customers in remote support today that had older installations of holdem manager from 2009. The update for .03 did not seem to work properly for them so I did a clean reinstall with revo uninstaller.

I would suggest you reboot and try to update once more - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmbetaupdate

If that doesn't work, try this:

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...o+Uninstaller+

1) Make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files. If you have custom HUDs you should export them all or at the very least make sure to save the \Config folder which has the prefs.xml file.
2) Uninstall HM with www.revouninstaller.com using the Deep setting. You do not need to uninstall PostgreSQL.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, remove any registry entries and leftover files.
4) Reboot your computer

6) Test if it for a while and see if it works

If it is the script I use -- it still works.

One can define a goal of amount of winnings, a goal of hands to play, a stoploss of losses and even a goal of Pokerstars-VPPs. It shows a little window with the session-winnings/losses, amount of played session-hands and percentage reached until the defined hands-goal. It then plays a defined sound for each goal or stoploss when reached. A popup could certainly be added with a little AHK-knowledge.

The script is just not that easy to setup as it needs an ID of the player it should watch. It seems not to work with an alias-playername or its ID.

I have found a trick to get this ID out of the database very easy.

Unfortunately I am in a bad mood to support HEM at the moment.

Those who need urgent help may try to PM me to get me in a better mood.

Yea, thats kindergarten...

This is the first report I have got of this, so thank you. I will ask my co-workers from Europe to test this issue. It sounds like it may be a left over, or new bug from our recent updates.

Do you get this type of poor performance if you create a new database in postgresql 8.3? I have had a few others report similar problems and I have been trying to do some testing on my machines. I am actually buying a SSD/W7 today so I can upgrade my Ci7-920 machine. I hope to be able to do some import and hud performance testing with the old and new HM versions, on my old XP machine and the new SSD machine.

Please email me at fozzy@holdemmanager.net, with a link to this thread, and your forum name. I am not sure what I can really do to help yet, but it will do us no good to discuss it in this thread as there will surely be some back and forth.

It depends on your computer performance and hard drive speed as well as the size of the files you are importing. This is why I usually suggest people break it up into much smaller groups of hands even if it takes a few nights to do it.

My 3 year old XP machine was getting 50 - 60 hands per second in the past but it seems to have slowed down recently as well. I think when I tested the other day with some original stars/ftp cash files I was getting about 35 h/s. You can see from my reply above yours that we are aware there seems to have been a slowdown recently and we are working on it.

I replied to you a little while ago, I think. A couple of our guys did some testing this morning and didnt have any issues on cash tables, rush games, or sngs, but that doesnt mean it couldnt have affected you. If I am remembering you correctly, your HMHUD.exe was disappearing at first before I reinstalled it. I think you may have some type of security software that is causing issues, so we will need to get rid of NIS and any other security software so we can go with something more reliable.

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...oker+Tracker+3

The original hands that PT3 processed when auto importing were moved to their \Poker Tracker 3\Processed folder, if you want to save the original files. HM moves the files it auto imports to C:\HMArchive. If you play a site like stars/ftp you can email their support and ask for all your old hand histories and tourney histories/results.

so of the 37k files i started out to import i have about 9k left. are you suggesting that i stop the process now then go into my archive to find out where i am at and break up the remaining files into folders of say 1k files per piece and this should make it go faster?

No, at this point you are just better waiting it out. Sorry, if I confused you. It wouldn't have necessarily made it faster for you if you had done it that way, just more tolerable so you could be playing poker already (with a smaller database).
