I have read some FAQ's and searched but can't find any information about it.
I have newest version of HM and swedish version of partypoker
Yes, you can:

Be sure you have a recent patch, currently 1.06.04 rc3.

"Hud Options => Seating Preferences"

p.s.: I don't know if it works with the swedish version, thus you perhaps have to switch Party to English.

How many others are getting the position prefs file being corrupted bug? I've wasted days on this stupid thing by now and have being getting nothing but the run around in the HM forums over it, ie here download this version, it might fix it, do that then asked what version are you using etc. How hard can it be to make a change that at least stores a backup of the position prefs data so even if there is no quick fix to the corruption issue, we can at least restore our layout without having to redo every singe time this happens which for me is daily. Until now I've been very satisified with HM but not having this issue addressed or even taking seriously has me VERY frustrated with HM and the useless forum support.

Why are my showdown stats different in the report and in the handreplayer hud-popup (same sample as indicated by the number of hands)

Have you any filters set in Hud Options > Additional HUD filters?

Ill respond here to your 3 questions/statement made here and on boards rather than reply to all of your posts which are basically the same statement. Very sorry to hear your unhappy with the support, unfortunately when were trying to fix a known bug theres not much we can suggest other than to try the newest version which we implemented changes to so we could see if it fixes the issue, when your using an older version we dont know whether it fixes the problem or not until you upgrade. I realise now you do now have the newest version however as you can see from the thread Mike was and is working hard to fix it and it did for quite a few people, well continue to work on it but we cant just fix a bug on the spot, sometimes it takes time and hard work.

(Is this normal???)

The data directory is about 23 gigs large. (I do have millions of hands in HM)

Is it a good idea to just backup/compress the postgreSQL data directory and what is the best program to do that?

Is there a "please check out my DB and tell me everything is ok?" program/command in pgAdmin or elsewhere?

Thanks for the help!

depends on how many million and what hands per second, but yeah it can take this long to import a database sometimes. Yeah backups are advisable as is also keeping your original HH in case theres prolems restoring a database.

You can use a vacuum to run a check and reorganise the database to make it run queries faster by doing a vacuum http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm....aspx?faqid=60 also running a defrag can increase import speeds too

Will it work like TM? I play on FTP and really like the fact that PT3 can just import the generated tournament summaries.

And, i'm sure this has been answered several times, is it possible to use HEM on 2 different computers with 1 license?
I have a laptop in the city where i go to college and a desktop in my hometown and i'd really like to use it on both ofc.

thanks in advance
Tourney support is being worked on and you should see something over the next couple of weeks

Dont have an exact ETA as it depends on how smooth things run a couple of weeks possibly longer although it has the highest priority at the moment

Is it one of these or another stat you mean, or is it how often someone raises a limper your looking for?

A simple space would be nice to have 2 "chunked" groups of stats on the same line.

You can see the difference in readability here (see the second line on each image)
Top one is the current display. Bottom one is easier to read with a (double character sized) space.

Could be implemented like this.

Anyway, assume you guys have no time to implement anything beyond what you currently have, so my expectations are low. But it would help basic readability a lot.
I like it, nice idea. Maybe add it to the suggestions forum http://holdemmanager.uservoice.com/ and link to your thread with the graphic and id say it will be popular

after entering the account password as postgrespass and trying to proceed, i get the error: "invalid username specified: Logon failure: user name or bad password".

how do I fix this?
Uninstall PostgreSQL, delete the PostgreSQL folder at the C drive and reinstall using a diffrent username like holdemmanager

The replayer uses the default layout, you can manually override it by following the instructions here: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm...aspx?faqid=135

I disabled all filters in "Hud Options > Additional HUD filters".
Amount won and Number of hands are identical in the report and in the hud-popup, so it has to be the same sample.

No, those stats are about the player who limped. What we are referring to is about the person raising the limper. A different play entirely. How often someone raises a limper is an important statistic for any mid-stakes and higher player.

Do you have to be sitting at a table to collect HHs or can I just open many tables to get data?

Just bought this - nice work.

However, I can't seem to find the MT Ratio, and searched this thread and elsewhere, but have only found "Not available yet" but that was many months ago.

Is there an MT Ratio in HEM now? Any expected date if not there yet?

Thanks!

We have some big implementations coming up so until we get through them we cant really give an accurate ETA although feel free to suggest it here as a higher place in this table will increase its chances of being added sooner http://holdemmanager.uservoice.com/

Depends on the sites, alot of site ban datamining so we cant discuss it. For stars you can grab one hand to show the stats before you sit, also its possible on UB too

Dont know if this will help but just use an abbreviation and colour it the same as your background, black background black abbv and you get a space?

You can use abbreviations and put spaces instead of an abbreviations.

Generally you have to wait some time before HM moves new files.

The stat in the HUD Flop Check raise Raised Pot in quite a lot of players is vastly vastly different from their other check raise stats. Even for me it is extremely high and I very rarely c/r the flop in a raised pot [?]

Just wondering if someone at HEM can check on this to make sure it is calculated correctly so I know I am playing based off correctly calculate stats.

Thanks

Just activate "Abbreviations" and don't put anything in the abbreviation box. It can be useful sometimes to put spaces in the abbreviation box to space a little your stats.
