theres a limit to how much bad dialogue a good actor can overcome.
+36. Take the 3 Star Wars prequels, for instance.

Yeah, at best you have to get your mind over that none of the zombies figured out how to come down the road that everyone else found pretty easily. I just don't know why the writers thought it would be more interesting for Rick's wife to get pregnant, than it would be to explain how the farm is an oasis of peace in the fcked world. It would've been cool for them to show the weaknesses of the zombie horde through explaining why the farm doesn't get any zombie visitors.

That is all.
Yep. You could add Kubrick if you're about 30+ in age, and Michael Bay, the latter for infamy rather than fame.
5 years ago you would've added M. Night Shammalammalan to that list; no I doubt anyone younger than 22 knows who he is.

I personally don't think Shane's a "badass", I think he's an a-hole having a psychotic break.
FWIW, Shane's actor is much better in the 2nd season's role, he played the hurt and conflicted best friend not-so-great imo.

Yes, and clearly that was meant to be a transition point for Rick's character. They go into that with some more depth on amctv.com.

Not untrue, but above had more meaning to the series.
