Maybe the variety show Christmas DVD. I've always found Kate MacKinnon's WU characters to be overrated.

There wasn't anything horrible, but I think some people were disappointed because they had the same high level of expectations that you would get for someone like Justin Timberlake.

I'll admit that there was a surprising lack of commitment on T&A's part in that sketch with Kenan as the movie director. That was a little disappointing.

I think Jost and Che have really hit their stride on WU. I think they might even be stronger than Seth Meyers was.

The website The Verge has the unaired skit cut for time and brags it's the best one of the show.

Do not be fooled,it is absolutely terrible.

Kyle Moody and Amy play siblings that won't get along for Christmas to please their mom.

It's that type of schtick that is so bad that it's supposed to be good,and it's just bad.

Most of the episode was mediocre, but yeah, the Undercover Boss sketch was incredible. Driver killed it.

Just saw they did a feature in Vanity Fair on Cecily Strong. Isn't it strange that she's getting so much more press than Kate McKinnon? She also did White House Correspondence dinner. Clearly McKinnon way more talented and has a much more dynamic range, I wonder why the press is latching onto CS. I don't think see any stand out qualities that she has over anyone else in the cast.

TBF McKinnon appears to be getting much more non-SNL work but getting less buzz. I dunno just an interesting observation about the media and what they choose to latch on to.

Yea but McKinnon can actually play a character as opposed to Cecily where she's just Cecily Strong doing a comical latina accent or whatever. I would bet if you went to 10 amateur improv shows across the US you could find 5 or so more talented performers than CS. Albeit they probably wouldn't be as attractive but would be a more capable SNL cast member.

She just seems like a good time,if you hung out she could hold her own as a funny hot woman.

I think Cecily is pretty versatle across the board while Kate is just a ham. She's talented, but she's an absolute ham, and that's not really my style.

btw, not sure i can remember an episode where the host did as little as Ronda Rousey. smart move by them probably.

Yeah it was smart because she was an awful actress. Wish they would have been even smarter and not picked her to host in the first place.

Is it me or have they done that sketch with Pete Davidson as the high school student sleeping with his teachers before?

Larry David as Bernie Sanders in Curb Your Enthusiasm style was elite. I don't watch SNL, but prolly their best sketch in 5 years.

Yeah Bern Your Enthusiasm was very well done. Weekend Update was great and I was cracking up hard at the Totino's/X Files commercial. Best episode in quite some time.

Was first full episode I had seen in probably four or five years and really enjoyed it. Was kind of shocked to see Keenan and moniyhan still on the show.

Larry David was reason I finally tuned in was die hard snl viewer forever but then just stopped watching. Not sure if it was enough to keep me coming back but I enjoyed a lot of the cast.
