I would like to hear about it. I have followed him for a while. Thought he was quite bad as a stand up but his sketches are good (first saw him in a sketch called "The Wine Guys" with one of my fave stand ups, Adam Ray).

I noticed I think the last episode there was Michael Che saying like "don't vote for the black guy this time" referring to Carson. So SNL has seriously become a liberal show that tries to make people vote for Democrats. Props though for letting Trump host the show.

Yeah....that's not a new thing.

Lol you act like it's some sort of conspiracy, like the DNC is part of the writer's room. Did it ever occur to you that most of the people on the show just happen to be liberal? Not their fault that Republicans are much easier comedic targets.

Actually now they did the Democrat candidates and they did poke fun at them a bit, so I guess it's not that black and white.

That was brutal.

I don't get Tracy Morgan I guess.

But I did like him on 30 Rock.

Tina Fey is still hot and funny tho.

No

Where do you think the term 'liberal media' comes from

Because conservatives are stupider, and easier to make fun of

Larry David's Bernie Sanders was hilarious. That was the first time I've seen the woman's Hillary Clinton, it was good in spots but a little hit-and-miss. Didn't really live up to the hype imo.

It was good to see Astronaut Jones again. I've always thought its premise was genius. Like... A 90 second b movie opening for one blacksploitation joke. The absurdity of it always made me laugh.

I thought it was the best ep so far of the first 3 this season.

I'm not usually a fan of recurring characters but I like Tracy Morgan's, I think because they weren't really done to death back when he was on SNL, and obviously it's been years since we've seen them. I've always like Morgan's super weird characters.

The Family Feud sketch was actually really clever for once, instead of just being a parade of one liner superficial celebrity impressions. It was a great concept, and I'm surprised I've never seen it before. The where is Jackie Chan sketch at the end was awesomely weird.

And LD in the opening sketch? Gotta love it.

Fake cocaine to cover up a poop at a friend's house is pretty darn funny too. Kenan Thompson's Willy was also probably the best one of those they've done.

I think there's been better Willy's

"It's like they always say - Wolves raped and killed your dog again Willy!"

I was a bit disappointed that there was no Lorne Michaels cameo.

Yeah, Larry David was great. Didn't even realize he barely has to change his voice. Thought he had a negative relationship with Lorne for the longest time because of how he was treated/misused there. Glad to see they're on good terms.

Dick Ebersol was in charge when Larry David worked at SNL. Lorne came back the next season.

I thought it was the best ep in a long time. Can't stand leslie jones but the Family Feud sketch was great. Brian Fellows Safari Planet was solid, especially when the camel went rogue.

You missed the 40th anniversary special? Seinfeld did a monologue with audience plants and Larry David was hilarious.

That might be the worst, most comedically offensive, uncomfortable 90 minutes of television I've ever experienced in my life. I hope a ****ing meteor falls on 30 Rockefeller Plaza.

Well, at least we got more Larry David. Otherwise, cringeworthy, offensive, unfunny show.

i mean... gimmie a break. that legitimately felt like any other episode of SNL, it just had a controversial host.

I'm currently 100% tuning in for LD every week right now, no matter how bad the eps are. (didn't think last night was anything out of the ordinary either)

I generally despise Drunk Uncle, but the Trumptastic atmosphere made it funny for the first time.

One thing I thought was funny was the Trump tweet asking who would marry Taran Killam when, in real life, the answer is Cobie Smulders.

Episode wasn't very funny, but that is often the case when the host is not a comedian/actor. Calling it the worst thing ever is hyperbole.

Fwiw, I don't think Trump did himself any favors politically, and may have hurt himself pretty badly. Anyone still questioning whether or not he is a 'serious' candidate got their answer in the form of a resounding NO.
