Uh if you every hear Harris, who bill largely bases his stance on, he always always mentions this point and makes it clear that they aren't condemning them all.

Their overarching view is that while the extremists don't represent the majority, their extremist factions do things much, much worse than extremist factions in other groups (for the most part, of course there are exceptions).

They say this over and over whenever this topic is brought up.

The problem isn't even so much that there are a minority of extremists, as much as it's a SIZEABLE minority.

There are entire countries and areas of the world completely run by violent lunatics with a medieval view of the world.

They aren't a fringe group living outside the boundaries of what society considers ok. They are the societal authority, they make the rules.
