After seeing Party Down mentioned in various other TV threads I finally decided to watch it. Started last night and finished this afternoon. ****ing awesome show and it's a shame it was cancelled.

Did I ever mention that I had a dream recently where I ran into almost the entire cast? I kept trying to think of clever things to say to them that would be original, but was blanking out. I pondered whether to hit on Lizzy Caplan, but she didn't look that great and I couldn't think of anything good to say anyway.

I did have a bromance with Adam Scott in the dream, and I had a mild dreamover (dream + hangover, when you have a wonderful dream that turns out to not be real, often about a girl who doesn't even exist) for the next few days. Still hurts a bit actually.

I tried to watch the Childrens Hospital episode by various Internet means, and all of them had this weird echo in all the dialogue for the first half of the episode. Anyone else experience this?

I recorded it on DVR, and it's the same. So they actually aired it this way.

(Some audio editor just got fired).

Yes it aired with the echo. In VLC (or other media player) choose right channel only and there's no echo.

I watched the first (2?) eps(I think they combined 2). I guess I liked it but it didn't flow very well, or something. I'll probably watch it all, eventually.

I love Children's Hospital. Have seen some of the episodes multiple times -- probably the best laughs/minute ratio on television. Nothing but a steady stream of one-off jokes and throaways. Delivered rapid-fire by a terrific cast. It's probably too cynical to be a truly great show (even Arrested Development had a little warmth) but it's a riot.

See if you can find "That '70s Episode." The hardest I've laughed at TV in a long time.
