i'm not even a parent (although come from a big extended family that gathers a lot) and this show wins for me in terms of enjoyment more than any other show on tv week in and week out.

i don't ever want it to end.

Haddie is just an awful actress. It sounds like she is reading all of her lines. Outside of that loved the episode. Was hoping the grandmother would say something super inappropriate at the end like, "How did Crosby get a 5 year old son?"

The latest ep was kind of bleh. Maybe it's just me but I felt like I missed an ep in between. I had to go review the past eps to make sure. At least Haddie only had 10 sec appearance.

I didn't mind the whole Crosbie/Adam thing. Looks like were gonna get another Amber plot line. If she starts sleeping with her boss.....

Yeah, I had no recollection of the scene they showed at the beginning of the episode ("Previously on Parenthood...") where Adam mentions that magazine interview. I don't know if something was edited/aired out of order (seems unlikely for a show such as this) or whether it happened before Christmas and I just forgot.

Any episode with very little Haddie, or Max is a good episode. I like the new love interest for Crosby.

Anyone else want to see the guy running for office pickup a bat and beat the crap out of an Irishman??

Can't remember the name of the show but I enjoyed. Found it Black Donnelly's

Anyone remember the opening shot from this week's episode?

Ah, the Transamerica Pyramid! That beautiful unmistakeable San Francisco skyline! As a resident of SF, I was curious where they shot this so I did some digging to find out. I found the original location:

Wait, that looks like a dump! There's a mother****ing Burger King! What the hell happened?!?!?

It turns out that is fitting, because this is in Los Angeles.

You have betrayed me, Parenthood.

A tv show that's supposed to be somewhere else is really shot in LA? Now I've heard everything.

Prepare for second blow. Psych is not actually filmed in Santa Barbara. It's Canada, eh?

Yes, seriously this is the only show that my wife and I agree on. I know this show has been teetering on extinction but this (see below in red) is the latest on viewership.
Quite frankly I'm not sure how good these numbers are. Does this mean Parenthood will be around for at least another season?

At 10 p.m., “Parenthood” (1.7/5 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall) is up week to week by 6 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.7 from a 1.6) and 10 percent in total viewers (4.912 million vs. 4.483 million). These are "Parenthood's" top 18-49 and total-viewer results since January 17.

In the time period, "Parenthood" is currently within 0.2 of a rating point of #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and is #1 among those networks in adults 18-34, men 18-34, women 18-34 and women 18-49. Note that "Parenthood" has been adding 45 percent to these next-day "live plus same day" ratings when Nielsen issues "live plus seven day" results.

I'm hopeful it will get renewed but with NBC we just don't know. It sounds like all the current storylines will be resolved this week either way. If it does get cancelled viewers may not be as pissed off if that is the case.

Actually, since it's on NBC it probably stands a better chance, since NBC is doing so poorly in the ratings. The show seems to have at least held its audience from last season, and thus NBC likely would see the show as worthwhile to keep rather than going with something unknown in its place.

One wrinkle might be whether the cast was signed to deals that ended at year 3, as that could lead to them wanting raises which in turn could kill the show or have at least some characters written off (hard to do on a show like this, about a family).

If they do another season, I'd bank on it being no more than the 18 episodes we got this year.

Sir, you don't understand. They took some ****hole street in LA and tried to make it look like not just any old city, but THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CITY IN THE WORLD, SAN FRANCISCO.

Such treachery is inexcusable.

Poor Drew, this show is full of awkwardpenguin.jpgs to begin with but any time something SUPER awkward needs to happen it's like Drew is the writers' go-to guy. Someone needs to walk in on their mom banging? DREW! Someone discovers their mom's ovulation kit? DREW!

I'm torn on if that kid is a great actor or an awful actor. It's one or the other.

Also I hate Jasmine... I'm not sure that Joy Bryant will ever be able to play a character I like simply because of this show.

lol Adam you tard, how are you gonna pay for your daughter's Cornell education and all of Max's special needs **** now? BUT AT LEAST YOU CAN STILL GO TO WORK WITH YOUR BROTHER CROSBY!

This entire show is #whitepeopleproblems

Did anyone else think (at first) when the child services woman told Joel/Julia the child's mother was incarcerated that she was talking about Zoey and they were about to get her child anyway? I guess they killed that idea by having the kid be old enough to talk, but that was the 1st place my mind went when she said that. They pretty much foreshadowed that the foster child's mom will try to get him back next season. Isn't that almost exactly what the storyline this season was?

And +1 on thinking for sure Drew and his gf were getting walked in on by somebody. Good season but pretty meh finale.

In that conversation Julia + Joel had with the adoption agency or whatever, did they say they were open to taking young kids as well as babies? I was kinda surprised they dropped a 6 year old on them. Didn't ever think it was gonna be Zoey though.

When they were at the adoption place Joel said they were open for anything.

Ratings went up a little bit from last week. Think show has a good shot for a 12 ep or so season 4.

I was pretty sure I saw an older kid in the backseat of the car when the woman from the adoption place showed up.

Still shocked that Adam turned down the money. Of course, we have no idea what sort of money the studio is making, but it still seems preposterous to me.

Hated how they decided not to bother writing the breakup scenes between Jasmine/Doctor and Crosby/cello girl. Such a cop-out. Thought the same thing when they had that Haddie/Amber scene when Amber ran away.

Really enjoyed the season; the show has hit a good stride. Maybe this is just because my life is mostly #whitepeopleproblems, but it rings true to life for me.

I'm also single w/ no kids so I imagine either of those things being different would make the show easier to relate to.

But like, come on, Zeke and Camille live in a ****ing mansion in Berkeley and didn't he have money problems or something at one point? like lol dude, your house is worth millions.

Yeah but they are both retired. I am sure the house is paid for. But taxes living can make it tight
