If they're talking about Kevin telling Oscar he'd like jail then yeah, that wasn't very funny.

Gaaahhhhh i hate all the kevin love. So goddam ******ed. Talk in a normal human voice and I could tolerate you.

Muckduck was one of my favorite lines ever on the show.

This ep seemed pretty funny, might have had something to do with a lack of Jim and Pam.

From wiki:

Quote:
Capicola is a typical dish of the city of Piacenza, and is popular in Switzerland near the borders with Italy, and on the French island of Corsica. It was previously little known in the US outside of areas heavily populated by Italian-Americans, however, awareness has increased due largely to frequent mention on the popular television series, The Sopranos. It was also mentioned in the classic film adaptation of The Godfather. In both appearances, it was pronounced with an Italian-American accent as "gabagool" (from Neapolitan dialect).
I assume it's something Michael would have picked up from watching the Sopranos. That's where I recognized it from anyway.

ya, if u watched the sopranos, the "gabagool" was pretty funny.
im gettin annoyed w/ kevin. did he always talk and behave like a dumbass? like S1?

It seemes like ever since holly came to the show last season or w/e kevin has acted more stupid.

I have been liking oscar alot more for no particular reason.

i've never seen the sopranos, so thanks for the explanation.

kevin barely had any lines in season 1, but he has always been the slow-witted fat guy. his stupidity has become more action-based, and his enunciation has gotten more...kevin-ish, i guess. he used to talk somewhat normally.

grotti's name is mike starr.

+1 i posted previously jim and pam are just dbags now, not nearly as funny as they were in the previous seasons. most of the things they say are just dbaggy. wtf was with pam treating oscar like a little bitch?

I agree with all the Jim/Pam sentiment, I just want to know if it's still socially acceptable for me to want to rail her.

The only real laugh out loud moment for me was the side salad line. Enjoyable enough episode but nothing special.

(paraphrasing):

Dwight: "Come on, look at Michael right now - broke, no real friends, living in fear, etc."

Andy: "Uhhh, that stuff already existed."

Dwight: "I know, but the living in fear thing is new."

LOL

I really like how Andy has now completely displaced Dwight as the fall guy/gag character. In earlier seasons, Dwight would have been the one dressing up like a mechanic and looking like an idiot just to serve Michael. Now Dwight is a truly strong character who finally has lost all respect for Michael and openly challenges him, while Andy is the guy who blindly finds himself in ridiculous circumstances.

I liked when Oscar was talking to the camera and mentioning that with Jim and Pam out of the office, he was the only normal one left since Toby hasn't been quite normal. I thought about this thread right then, because that has been a frequent topic, the 'real' characters and the outlandish ones.

Pretty mediocre/throwaway episode, I'm easily amused though and laughed a few times.

Oscar slowly becoming a new favorite character; best straight (lol not really amirite) man on the show, more consistent than Jim imo

I thought it was weird that my tv guide made a mention of Erin ruining Pam's painting but it wasn't in the episode. Guess it got deleted late in the process: http://www.nbc.com/The_Office/video/...p-one/1167166/

Good episode. I missed seeing Pam, but didn't miss her and Jim at all. My favorite joke in the history of the show ended up ruining Kevin for me. He still has his moments, but it's not as good since Holly thought he was ******ed.
