Basically 30 minutes of Charlie. Can't go wrong.

Trying to make the gang less cynical completely put them out of their element. Let's face it, they're a lot more interesting when they're dickish and offensive. There's not nearly enough of that this season.

C+ episode, good for a couple laughs but nothing special.

Had a good amount of laughs like the surprises from the dreambook & Charlie's reaction to it.
Spaghetti idea was funny at times but could have been better (actually, it was good except for the meatball part)

I love the Danny Davito reference to trip-hop.

Most of the humour came from the fact they were still cynical, misanthropic and self centered. Attempting to not be cynical doesn't make them not cynical. The motivation for their change turns out to be the most selfish cynical action in the whole episode.

Was that Black dude that was hanging with the bridge people Cutty from the Cut? Its not on IMDB so I could just be racist.

Definitely was Dennis "Cutty" Wise from The Wire.

I was a big hater on the beginning of the season but by my count this is the third straight good episode. Charlie in the movie theater was great, and I also recall a scene of I think Mac and Frank at a movie theater a while ago and it too was quite funny.

i didnt think it was terrible, but definitely below par for IASIP. just giving my vote for anybody gauging opinions.

I really liked the episode. Genuine awws that the gang geniunely tried to throw the best party they could for Charlie and it made him happy.

i had a hard time with the party since the commercials showed all the made "dreams" but the worm hat. The wormhat was the weakest of the 3 too, until Charlie called them Wormhat's wormhats.

I'll never understand why tv shows feel like they need to ruin the best scenes from episodes by ruining the punchlines in commercials all week. Its like when they did the Full-On-Rapist joke. would have been hilarious had they not beating it death for the episode even aired

Commercials for tv shows are to get you to watch that show. If you're already going to watch the show stop watching the commercials. Force yourself to sit through product advertisements if you really feel bad.

I was joking. I just dont mind watching commercials. Either because the TV is left on in the background or because I'm suching a fidgeter I could a minute to go do something in an other room

It doesnt change the point that its ****** to spoil what are supposed to be good scenes. I saw the commercial and was excited to see all the things they were going to come up with because you know charlie has some weird ass **** in that book. Instead I find out they basically already shown the whole scene in the commercial. Give me one logical reason that the commercial has to show the Denim Chicken and ruin the joke, instead of showing us a scene where they decide to do the dreams and then let us find out what they are when it airs.

not the best episode ever, but far from the worst too. i was chuckling a fair amount i think, the last few have been pretty solid.

I thought it was pretty good and I've been hating on most of the season. Charlie recognizing denim chicken was amazing.

That's what commercials are and what commercials do, so clearly you do, on some level, with some commercials, mind watching them. As you should.

They are ADVERTISEMENTS, it would not behoove them to use the least funny scenes they can find, to entice people to watch.

Solid episode. The part where they talk about Dennis' dick being blown off and mangled was hilarious, especially Dennis' fake laugh.

This season has not been a letdown for me at all. First several episodes were terrible, but every season has multiple bad ones. I am pleased so far.
