With no first hand knowledge its silly to question that part of the show and is one of the things i tend to dislike about the culture of OOTV where people look for things to pick at even if they have no capability to expressing why its wrong cos they are just guessing.
I never said Saul couldn't break her, but it was not shown completely how he did it.

I was not guessing. Obviously this has big implications if we want to go the whole "Saul is the mole" route. Not that I believe this is the route the show goes, but the writer's are leaving a hole which could be filled with the theory.

But do we need to see everything? Personally I like when a show has respect for the viewers and doesnt treat them like ******s by showing every single thing (hi there dexter).

Yea, I didn't pick up anyone questioning if Saul could turn her, I would have liked to have seen a scene where she says Walker isn't dead, etc. I'm pretty sure we'll see some more about that, possibly the interrogation tape or more dialogue.

she didn't know who walker was though. she was just able to give a description of him to the picture drawing guy.

so far we only have saul's word that blonde girl produced that drawing

so far we only have saul actively taking up a role to bring the girl in

so far they have only been in unmonitored situations and locations

so far we've seen prisoners resist quite heavily, here we have one car trip and bam tons of revelations from blondie

I mean, they could be setting a really deus ex machina twist, but I really hope not cos it'd be turrrrrrrrrrrrr-eeble

At this point Saul went from like 0.5% chance of being a mole (ie the chance the show went from the best drama on right now to the worst show i have watched in years) to like 0.0001% chance.

I think they did a relatively good job of portraying how Saul successfully broke her down, but that it's an impossible spot because a hardcore terrorist is hardly ever going to give it up like that. I was vaguely unsatisfied with it as well, but I think a skilled TV writer could spend two months trying to come up with a better way and still not succeed.

I dunno, television confessions often leave my feeling "no way that would've worked on a real person", but then you watch The First 48 and a super simplistic level one interrogation technique still works a lot of the time.

She was hardly a hardcore terrorist.

Knowing 24 I'd bet money David Estes is the mole (assuming there's only one).

Which wouldn't make it any less likely that Brodie is turned, whether he's consciously aware of it or not. Something else has to be going on with him or the show falls flat.

David Estes is the Director of Counter Terrorism for the CIA, if he's a mole this show will drop significantly, in terms of realism, IMO.

This is obviously not true. Having someone on the inside in the military of your enemy is a great asset. Especially if he's a hero with access. I'm just not buying the turned sniper plot. It's either a diversion or it's a signal that the show is going to turn into 24.

Good episode glad he is still turned like I thought

I love it. This is unfolding perfectly. What a show.

Pretty well done, as said above glad he's still turned.

k so brody was turned, but now he will turn back to be good because they lied to him?

carrie walking in while walker's wife was talking to him on the phone frustrated me. so was creepily standing there. no need for carrie to be there, just let her have her heart to heart by herself.

Amazing episode. It's playing out pretty much like no one expected it would. Kudos to the writers.

The people complaining about Saul "breaking" Aileen like she was some Al Queda super-terrorist is silly.

Saul even asks her what happened to her, and tells her if she did what she did because of true ideology than he can't help her. She did what she did because she was not allowed to see or be with Faizel when she was young. And her hatred to hurt the US grew out of that. She's not a "real" terrorist.

The scenes with Saul in the previous episode spelled it all out quite clearly.

the guy playing saul is a real good actor.

She was enough of a terrorist for Al Qaeda to make her an important part of an Abu Nazir-led mission they've been working on for eight years.
