Wow! More things happened in that one episode than some complete seasons of LOST.

even though the show is pretty predictable, a ton happens and all the characters except bruce are awesome.

And I'd say Bruce is OK and the actor is doing a good job with it. They are just limited in what they can do with him.

Maybe his dad's computer will magically make him a good character

It's very clever casting. He was also Penguin's father at the very beginning of Batman Returns. (Your post didn't make it clear if you knew that.)

Also: On this forum of all places, I'm surprised no one's called out Nygma on his mistake in simple arithmetic. 80% * 80% != 60%. Riddler, do you even math?

I thought he said 64%?

Just re-watched it to be certain. He definitely said 60%. Probably a writing mistake that no one caught. I don'y buy that Ed Nygma can't do simple arithmetic in his head.

More likely an error by the actor on what turned out to be his best take.

that was also probably the worst line of the episode without even taking into account the mistake.

Like really, youre just gonna make him say 80% and then 80% of 80% ? Sounds like some evil genius calculation there, woah, so interesting.

I started to skip all parts where Bruce and Cat are playing at the start of S2. Just cant watch it for more then 30 sec, they are soo annoying imo.

Very nice scenes with Penguin, like it a lot.
Very fast ending of Riddle story and that is good imo coz i think that pr Strange will unfrozen some villians (i remember that i sow Joker to be frozen at his place, but that story line should be S3) and there will be more interesting stories.

Spoiler for second next ep!
Spoiler:
btw i just read at imdb that S02E19 will have newly resurrected Galavan lol

Penguin should have licked up OC mom's tears of unfathomable sadness.

Not a huge spoiler since next week's preview showed a glimpse of him

Lol me
I forgot that where tv shows are made - USA, most of the time people watch it on tv and that there is next week preview after the current week show Some of the shows that i download ended even before the inscriptions begins.

Should be good ep left, i feel it. Even true that we can see Joker once again.

I would pay extra for the network to somehow block all previews of upcoming episodes at all times
Gotham Quote
04-18-2016 , 11:27 AM
Or, you know, you could just turn off the TV before "Next time, on Gotham..."
Gotham Quote
04-18-2016 , 02:16 PM
and for all the times previews come up during breaks of other shows?

did you think that was some brilliant reply? that the only preview ever shown is right after an episode and that I never realized I could stop watching at that point?

You don't dvr and zap all of the commercials and crap? I couldn't watch TV if I had to sit through the breaks.

The worst is when they preview what's happening after the commercial break. Into the badlands was like this

He's baaaaaccckkk

Now that Bruce knows about Strange I wonder how much longer he'll control Arkham

This was probably the best episode in the series that didn't feature Penguin & Riddler

Also, Bruce is not only bearable now, but I'm linking the Batman-vibes we're getting from him.

Barbara on her way to lock clearing herself.

A Mr. Freeze costume that isn't entirely cheesy? Azrael? Good stuff

You think they are gonna eventually get it so Barbara becomes Jim's wife?
Gotham Quote
04-19-2016 , 12:20 PM
Eh, they've done a good job with her, in the sense that even with DC lore they can go either way now. At first I was shipping her and Gordon. When she went bat**** I was still shipping her because she was just 'crazy-hot' but figured it wouldn't happen. Now that she's 'back' it could work.

Or they could do something stupid like make her die saving Lee

Isn't Barbara Jim's daughter's name in canon? My guess is she does something to redeem herself in some significant way and he names his daughter Barbara in tribute
Gotham Quote

Yes she is Batgirl - but Barbara Gordon (Keen) is also Jim's wife (and ex) in comics so who knows whether she'll live/die or redeem/not redeem
