If you scroll up a bit, some US posters are discussing how to watch it in the US.

There's an OOTV thread here, just read Dominic's praise. It's like a mix between Twin Peaks, The Leftovers and some Stephen King-ish semi-horror thingy. Season 1 of that show was crazy good.

IMO The nail-biting chess game scene in S2 Ep10 of The Bureau is worth the sub price alone. But Sundance (though amazon or alone) stream has a free trial going. Sling is supposed have it too.
Les Revenants (not the American version) also top notch.

Your Honor(Bryan Cranston) on Showtime. Solid crime drama. Very intense. A lot happens early, a lot of not very smart decisions, but I guess you wouldn't have a show otherwise. lol

The end I guess that is the song from The Shawshank Redemption.

I know they should be taken with a grain of salt, but even with Cranston and Moffat writing, these were a bit off-putting:

7.3/10 IMDb
37% Rotten Tomatoes
57% Metacritic

IMDB has been 8.6 and still is, not sure where you got that. Probably the main reason some other scores are lower is some strange things happening that likely wouldn't. But it looks well worth the watch.

Yeh definitely looks appealing. Was the number that popped up when I googled it, seems to have updated now.

You realize that is some foreign version of the show correct?

I do see IMDB has that version at 7.3, so that is what thethethe saw in google.

Even if you do sign up for a free trial of YouTube TV (I did) you still can’t watch Le Bureau in the states, it says it’s unavailable. Same goes for Amazon Prime.

Guess VPN is the only way? I reeeeeeelly want to watch this show

The Bureau is on Sundance now, Get the free 7 day trial of AMC+ on Amazon and that includes Sundance and Shudder.

Then you can watch Gangs of London. I am still trying to catch up on shows before I do it.

First episode of Your Honor has me hooked.

Should be good, not to mention that it appears that Maryland State Senator Clay Davis has changed his name and moved from Baltimore to New Orleans.

Now I've got to add Showtime back to watch this and finish Shameless.

Midway through the second season of Le Bureau now, the show still delivers. The 2nd season is definitely more tense.

What I really like about this show is that it often doesn't bother to explain the motivations of the characters, but instead trusts the viewer to keep up, yet everything always makes sense. Most shows tend to explain motivations a little too clearly to make sure the viewers get it, yet half the stuff the characters do don't actually make sense. Just like The Wire, it's a giant puzzle where every piece fits perfectly (at least so far). It blows my mind that this is a random French show, not some American HBO mega production.
