well it looks like no more "Pitch" *sigh* mark paul gossewhatever will probably get an emmy nomination. he should. but he won't win, and he shouldn't win. but he did do a damn fine job.

i liked it! the season finale(and probably series finale) was pretty good. i think the best episode was "Beanball" where the girl pitcher intentionally hits a batter on the other team.

also the horrible blonde woman actress. they originally cast wonderful elisabeth shue to play that role. but it didn't work out for some reason

Slowly making my way through this Netflix series "3%" - basic premise is that everyone lives in extreme poverty, and when they're 20, they are called to participate in "The Process", a series of tests. Tests are of a varied sort. People are eliminated until 3% are left, and they go to live in the luxurious "Offshore".

It's kind of hunger games-y, and it's in Portuguese with subtitles, but it's pretty interesting so far. Only one season so if you need something to watch, it's interesting enough.

I like it a lot, I think I am at the same point as you. Love the doctor and D, Gretchen mol is wicked hot imo.

I'm honestly not sure how it does a 2nd season though as there is only 1 real storyline.

I'm watching this BEE creation called The Deleted. Only way to see it is via subscription to the Fullscreen app. Yes, I paid $6 to watch this because I'm a BEE fan boy. They've been releasing one episode per day this week. The episodes are 15 minutes or so each.

It's about twenty somethings in Los Angeles who have escaped a cult / institution in Washington state. They are getting collected by the cult one by one. There's very vague story getting told.

It's typical BEE stuff in regard to dialogue, character types, setting, mood, and visuals. It's actually very well shot and the pacing is great. The cast is what you'd expect - actors in their 20s that BEE probably wants to or did bang. The chicks are smoking hot. There's drugs, boobs, sex, orgies, violence. Needless to say I'll stick it out and then cancel fullscreen.

Yes it is by him. And there's lots a male nudity. Obviously.

Apparently a lot of the cast is famous as vine , instagram, and YouTube actors.

that makes alot of sense.
I just watched a trailer and holy crap is the acting terrible.

hard to tell if the dialogue is really as awful as it sounds or if it's just cuz the delivery is so terrible.

judge have you watched the film he wrote starring lindsay lohan and some male porn star?

James Deen yes. I think BEE's dialogue is very recognizable and different than what we expect on screen.

I actually look forward to the day when someone is willing to actually argue with me sensibly and genuinely in a thread instead of just getting mad that their favorite show doesn't live up to my expectations (this may come as a shocker to you, but my expectations are very high), hating my posting style, or disagreeing with the business of television (possible hyperbole added again).

Again, there are things I know in general about television that most people on this site are completely clueless about, and it's not my fault if they can get past them. That's why so much TV is mediocre these days. There is some legitimately great TV out there these days, and the funny thing is that even most of it is flawed. The flaws are easy to get past in the best ones, and impossible to get past in the ones that should be better for a variety of reasons.

I'm embarrassed saying this, because it is truly not my style, but I'm not some random guy commenting on quality issues. I'm a creative person, with nearly 22 years of experience in my craft, and I judge for a major international awards competition. I am looking at a few more things than the average viewer, so I'm going to be a lot more picky than the average viewer. And I'll also beat back what I think are bad or incorrect ideas about what I'm watching, and (shocker) will occasionally be wrong in my opinions like everyone else on the internet. I'm being very genuine in my posting, regardless of what you think about it.

And please believe I can back up every single criticism I have of something (and am not at all afraid of counter-criticism), and I have seen very few on here that can (even fewer that can take counter-criticism, mainly fraud type academics who aren't good enough to remain in the business but know everything about movies until you cut through the fake exterior). If you don't like that, you can feel free to ignore me or scroll like others on here do. I won't cry a single tear over it. Those who do that weren't worth my time anyway.
Just popped in the thread to find some Catastrophe chatter and loooooooooooooooooooooool nunnehi.

the deleted ended like mid-plot and that's it. wtf.

I watched the first 2 eps of Insecure, loved it. That and Fleabag have me something to look forward to each night, get in touch with my feminine side.

Fleabag fans should also check out Good Behavior. Not really the same kind of show but similar protagonists (no fourth wall breaking).

The 2016 TNT show? The trailer was not what I was expecting. Looks trash, but I'll check it out since Fleabag is amazing.

good production, but didn't really care for it overall. bit of a chore to get through, and it definitely wasn't intended as a one season show.

i'd be mildly interested in a second series (if it happens), the ending was a bit intriguing
