ya looks much diff but think that's to be expected when ur comparing it hanging on a wall vs live and animated in a much diff expression.

think the fact she's shown specifically staring at an old lady face is the significance.

If it's the same face, then Arya def knows that it's waif girl approaching her on the bridge. This implies that she wasn't caught unawares, and the bridge conflict played out as Arya wanted, some sort of misdirect fake-out.

Don't know how you guys can say Arya story line is gonna be terrible no matter what. Her tricking the Waif and leading her into a dark alley where she's experienced fighting in the dark is pretty good. What'd you nerds want, her to beat the Waif straight up with needle even though we've seen her get destroyed by the waif numerous times?

But how does she trick the Waif into stabbing her in the gut instead of just slicing her throat?

And if she did trick her you have to assume she had armor under her clothes and some sort of fake blood bag or some ****.

Arya probably wasn't Arya. It was probably Jaquen. Where would Arya get 2 bags of coins? Why would she saunter around town in the open? Where was Needle?

Plus the season trailers had Arya jumping off a roof.

And I think Massie Williams has said in an interview that every time we see Arya it won't always be Arya.

Arya's scenes just prior to the stabbing didn't make sense.

How did she go from going to bed with needle by her side, probably fearing for her death, to being in town, with a smile on her face, wearing make up.

Did Arya, the Waif and the other guy have breakfast together before Arya went on her merry way?

Just felt a bit off.

Dunno, knew the Waif hated her and would try and make her suffer? Or possibly from training with her so much.

Or what is probably more likely is that is was Jaquen testing the Waif.

Either way both possibilities are good. If you expected Arya to defeat the Waif without some sort of trickery or other forces involved, you're whats terrible. Not the Arya plot.

You cant change your face to the face of living people... They remove the face after they die. We saw jaqen doing this a few eps ago.

honestly we dont know anything about how faceless men work and its clearly not as simple as magic masks and giggles

You can change your face on the fly as long as you have the face in your "inventory" (the wall of faces) at least that's what I got from it all.

You must be new around here, this is the standard strat, trash everything on an episode to episode basis, assume D& D and everyone else involved are complete idiots, then never address your criticisms once said storyline is finished & a lot of the time finished very well. This strat is second in frequency to conveniently forgetting this show is 1k page books condensed down to 10 hour seasons that are also made to attract the masses, not just booknerds.

I'll give the showrunners time on Arya, but the hound not noticing his gang of like 20 getting slaughtered when he was worried it was going to happen annoyed me.

I really like the show. But I do think that the writers and directors are not as careful and precise as George Martin is. Martin really is a perfectionist, and some of the show's best moments are those which keep faith with Martin's original language. I think, for example, that Tyrion telling Joffrey "If you say another word, I'll hit you again" is word-for-word from the books and the scene works brilliantly.

The show absolutely has to take shortcuts -- although I for one would imagine it would remain profitable if it went ten seasons rather than seven. It may become really difficult and expensive to keep all the main actors for that long, though . . . I suspect there's some specific reason why they're only intending two more (short) seasons.

if they drag all the "protected" characters and their storylines to the last short season then not effing it up will be a miracle. If u discount dorne and some other small things than d & d have done a great job this far imo.

Seriously? How do you explain their complete body morphs if they only put dead people's skin on their faces?

Well I dont mean they just remove the faces and glue them to their faces. There's obviously magic into it too
