As bad as some of the scenes have been, I think the writers have done a good job in keeping interesting story lines. Now it's clearly going to shift to a power struggle within the cult between Joe/Emma and Roderick/Lucile. I think it's going to be interesting.

BTW I have the mega hots for Lucile

I have to admit it would be pretty amazing if it all ends because the cult implodes on itself, and all that's left it is Joe wondering how it all went wrong. Then, Ryan goes to cuff him, he steals Ryan's gun, and shoots himself, thus giving absolutely no credit to the FBI...lol.

I don't think that was it. He was saying he failed Joe, and wanted to go down as important. He would go down as being important by being Joe's first kill after he escaped prison for the second time. If it leaks to the news that Joe has killed again (which I'm sure it will) he will have been important to the larger picture. We've seen it time and time again (ice pick lady in the series premiere, that guy "Joseph" who ate the suicide pill, etc)
