If we're nitting, then I definitely thought the Nazi scene had a lot of things conveniently go Walt's way.

As mentioned above, what was Walt planning on doing if someone checked the trunk, or if someone made him park his car in a certain place, or if the guy hadn't conveniently dropped the keys and wallet in an easily accessible place on the pool table? Walt's a ****ing genius, I just don't see why they weren't very careful. Also I found it a bit odd that like 10 guys are just letting Walt chill in the room while someone went to get Jesse, instead of keeping a gun to his head and making sure no funny business happens.

Did you miss the part where he knew Lydia met at the same time and day everywhere week for meetings? He obviously knew she used the same table too (which we saw).

When you realize that Walt didnt save Jesse altruistic purposes but rather to serve his pride and ego, it makes the ending much better. It was must so that he could take the sole credit as the man behind this empire, this phenomenon product and cement Heisenberg as the GOAT meth man/drug man. It goes back to the scene with Skyler when he says he did all this for himself.

Yeah, it would have been way better if they searched the trunk and shot him on the spot.

Nits,

Why in the blue hell would the idiot nazis ever think to check his trunk?

Are you in the habit of opening peoples trunks when you meet them?

Why would they EVER suspect idiot teacher man would have a rigged m60 with tracer rounds?

Its like you people stretch to find things wrong

When Jesse realized Buell swiped the weed from his pocket, he realized Buell HAD swiped his pack last season (like he thought until Walt convinced him otherwise), switching cigarette packs to get Jesse's ricin cigarette. Then it's not hard for him to understand that Gus couldn't have used it to poison Brock, therefore Walt did.

4)Got to take credit for the world-class meth. It was obvious how perturbed he was that Jesse was getting credit for his product in the scene in the car with Badger/Pete.

I mean, the guy was going to die anyways from the cancer in short order. In my mind he went out the way he wanted/on top compared to all of the other possible endings.

Obviously some of you guys would only see Walt as winning if there was an ending with him on a beach sipping fruity rum drinks slaying hoes and playing volleyball for the rest of his life.
Breaking Happily Ever After.... or, at least, until cancer catches up to you.

That was pretty much perfect for me.

Disliked the Lydia phone call near the end, but that was just about the only thing.

Actually shed a tear at the very end.

the dude is known to be a criminal mastermind, meth kingpin head, they even go so far to check under his shirt for a wire, yet they don't check his trunk? btw they checked other parts of the car too, the guy sat in the car

also the obvious motive being that they stole 60 odd million from walt lol
we aren't nits lol, we pointed out the scenes we thought were awesome, the ending just seemed a little convenient

Jesse explained it earlier in the season. Walter is smarter than you and he's lucky too.

He was lucky with the keys. There was no reason for them to check his trunk though. Why would they?

If this is really the best reply you have, then I have to laugh pretty hard.

Why would the nazis think to check his trunk??? Maybe because he's HEISENBERG, aka THE DANGER, aka THE ONE WHO KNOCKS.

Or maybe it's because they have a huge and messy history, and they murdered his brother in law in front of him and then took all his money.

But yeah, good call relating it to opening someone's trunk that you've just met for the first time

a ricin vaccine called RiVax has completed two successful clinical trials so Lydia could potentially rush to the hospital and maybe save herself. Walt letting her know she was poisoned was unnecessary and her just thinking she had a cold and abruptly dying would have been better. A quick scene with her being sick and in bed would have been sufficient.

The finale takes place in 2010 or w/e. Before the vaccine was available.
