Even if Jesse did leave for the RV immediately following Hank's phone call to Walt, it makes sense that Hank wouldn't be able to figure it out. Hank only knows Walt as the underachieving school teacher. He's had a blind spot for Walt's meth cooking from the beginning. It will take more than suspicious timing for him to even consider the possibility Walt might be involved.

Keep in mind that Hank called Walt for info on Jesse (who he knew from teaching him CHEMISTRY) because he once did a drug deal with him.

Maybe I'm giving the character too much credit, but I just see an opening in the blindspot for a DEA investegator.

When he finds out Walt's got "7 figures" from "gambling in underground blackjack games" I guess it'll really get painful for me. I think Hank will be killed before that though. But w/e, doesn't matter, I love the show all the same.

Killed? Please, Hank is gonna team up with Mike to form Two Bald Badasses, the company that will be put in charge of security and investigations for the Fring-White empire.

Jesse's death wish since Jane died has been pretty explicit.

I guess this is true.

BTW, I have been seeing your posts in various sub-forums for a while and had no clue who your avatar was....until a couple days ago. Love it. Gus is a phenomenal character.

Spoiler:
Based on Cranston's interview where he mentioned a major character possibly dying early on, the trailer definitely is more than hinting it will be Gus. Reading the interview though, it seemed like Cranston was hinting as Jesse. I don't know what to think. Wish I had seen more trailers before the other seasons to judge how misleading they are in general.

The only main characters that could be killed and maintain the show in my opinion are Gus, Mike or Saul.

Someone please add input. I know I'm probably missing some important detail as it's been a while from last season and I've forgotten lots.
the trailers have always been very misleading as have the previews for each epsiode

I have seen every episode at least twice on TV. I have all three seasons on DVD unopened and am thinking about viewing them before season 3 starts.

Question, does every episode on DVD have a few minutes of extra footage? I have seen the pilot on iTunes and there are extra scenes in it(one being Skyler giving Walt a handjob).

Breaking Bad has been on my "to watch" list for ages and I finally got around to it. I've watched every episode in the last 3 days.

Just, wow. So, so good.

3 > 2 >> 1 for me.

I wish I had have spaced it out a bit more as I'm really not looking forward to waiting a few weeks to see the next episode.

If I had been waiting as long as you guys have I probably would have gone crazy by now.

Just finished S3 - marathoned all 3 seasons on DVD. What a wonderful show.

I thought there might be a chance Gale could be alive (but severely injured-possibly paralyzed or soemthing.), which would buy Walt some time since Gale couldn't cook in the hospital, and Jesse could be not the evil one.

Amazing the interview with Gilligan how much they admit to just making things up. It seems like a much smoother story arc than Lost, yet they claimed to have everything planned there. If they are winging it, so far so good. It will be interesting if they have the entire series story arc roughly mapped out or it just falls apart at the end, though.

rewatching s3. seriously some of the best stuff i've ever seen on tv.

Not sure how they can keep it up. Always feel a letdown is coming.

more s4 spoilers

Spoiler:
Gilligan said an interview that Gus would be the central part of S4, so I don't think they'd off him in the first episode. If I were a betting man I'd lay money on Mike. Since when we last left him his orders to kill Walt were foiled, and he was headed to Gail's. I'd guess some sort of Jesse/Mike confrontation unfolds or Gus is unhappy with him.

Re-watching S3, god this is so good. The scene where Saul draws Hank away from the RV is just so sick.

Agree with this + the latter scenario.

Definitely. That and the cousins attempting to kill Hank are among my favorite scenes of the show.

For me too. Improving on every season just adds into the epicness of the show. Of course, it brings up the obvious question as to how long it well be able to get better (or, more importantly, will it get worse).

Yeah I've watched the whole series only once and though it's probably at least a year when this aired I still remember this scene very well. Man the suspense was just incredible, gave me chills.

Thinking whether I should rewatch the series before S4 as I'd still make it in time but I just started The Sopranos for the 2nd/3rd round yesterday.

Everyday I walk down La Brea and see a HUGE billboard for the show right off of Sunset Blvd. I smile every single time.

That's not an extra scene. I remember seeing that scene when it first aired.
06-25-2011 , 06:03 PM
I also remember seeing it watching the season 1 dvd
06-25-2011 , 07:40 PM
Def not an extra scene. Iirc its even in S01E01, when she won't divert her attention away from an ebay auction long enough to give him the business.

Awesome 2+2 id considering "daddy warbucks" was used twice by two diff characters in the show
