No, but I agree with you. The first was written by Altschuler and Krinsky who are also the showrunners (Along with Judge) and who also ran King of the Hill and The Goode Family. The second one, I didn't know the writer.

No idea when mine will air. Will try to find out.

I'll probably continue to watch but not feeling much nostalgia. Watched the show regularly with friends in high school. My dad liked it more than me even back then, lol. I grinned a couple times, no lol moments. It's a bit odd seeing the show back on tbh even knowing it was happening for months now.

Might be the first time I saw MTV since those days. I've never seen Jersey Shore, let alone any other shows they were making fun of... the vampire/werewolf angle to get chicks delivered.

Not sure why, but I still laughed every time Butthead said "you were crying" even after it was used 5 or 6 times.

What really struck me is that there was no attempt to modernize or update it and how well that worked. It looked exactly like it did 20 years ago and the characters were exactly the same (including the teacher) yet it felt completely contemporary and hilarious. I'm amazed at how well this worked.

I noticed that the animation of them while watching videos did seem like early-90's quality style then more current.

Also, B&B did seem a little more grown up in their delivery lines. Their comments just seemed smarter than before, but in a good way.
