Nice AB Ankiel.

Ryan's AB was pretty terrible too.

If we lose this game and waste Waino's start I'm going to be super upset.

Yeah that was cool blah blah blah. We still suck lol. Thurston is the worst mother ****ing baseball player i have ever seen in my entire life. Sweet 0 for 4 with three strikeouts as your average continues to dive to .219. Make sure you start him tomorrow TLR you stupid ****. Maybe he can take over Pujols' spot at first since Thurston is such a god damn superstar.

Look at this ****! This god forsaken team is making me act like a cubs fan.

I will again suggest that Franklin be considered for the all star team though.

Hard to argue with this. That guy has no business being on a professional baseball roster. Gee, good thing we didn't hang on to Felipe Lopez.

So its beginning to look much more likely that our old friend Troy Glaus is going to be back on the team for the second half of the season. Obviously its a pretty big unknown whether he'll be effective. But assuming he fills in at 3rd well enough, would you guys be in favor of moving De Rosa to the OF or moving him to second and skip back to the OF?

Felipe Lopez's updated stats just for fun?
.303/.356/.414 .770OPS 70games

Obviously Derosa >>> any of our Ofers. Unless Glaus swings with 1 arm he'll be better than Duncan or Ankiel.

I'll probably get blasted for this but I think we should sign Bonds for the league minimum with a ton of performance incentives.

IF Glaus plays league average the 2nd half of the year at third base (Oh wouldn't that be sweet.) I really don't care who plays 2nd and who plays the OF out of DeRosa/Skip. The smart thing to do would probably be move Skippy back to the OF, but... you know how it is.

Screw that. Leave Skip at 2b, leave the outfield as is, and makle Derosa the SS. Neither Ryan or either of the two Greenes have shown they have any kind of clue. I am not impressed that BR has had a few singles fall in. He jsut feels like a 260/300/360 guy and our offense is not nearly good enough to carry that.

If I had to choose, I would rather have derosa at 2b and SS back in the outfield.

And Ankiel shoudl get benched before Duncan.

I was reading another website and someone commented that Rasmus hasn't walked since May. I was thinking "Ok, he doesnt have much patience, but this is just exaggeration to make a point". Uhh, my bad.

I know he will get pitches to hit in front of Pujols, but going 101 PA's without a walk is really damn tough to do.

The both suck at the plate. The difference between Ankiel in the OF is much greater than Duncan's slightly better hitting stats.

Looks like we called up Hoffpauir. He'll actually give us a warm body vs left handed pitching. He's got a little power too so at least we won't have another Brendan Ryan clone. 11 errors at AAA is worrisome.

All the guys on this team that are hitting .200 since may 1st and you guys are worried about Brendon Ryan??? Maybe once we get more than three major league hitters in the lineup we can start looking to upgrade there. As it stands a .290 slap hitter is a massive upgrade over anybody that has played in our outfield this year other than Rasmus. Ankiel might have a little better luck getting some singles to fall for him if he were able to make contact with the baseball. Knowing the difference between a ball and a strike is probably helpful for MLB hitters as well.

Kind of what i was thinking. Looks like his next start will be against the brew crew so we'll get to see if he actually fixed something in his mechanics.

Two free passes to Pujols both followed with hits by Ludy was nice to see.

(Ryan brings average up to .298 with a single and double for all the haters)
