vegas lists osu as a 16.5 point favorite;

osu is focusing on some weird uniform

favorite + lack of focus on the game = less than best effort

regardless i'm really stoked! lots of folks in town and an 8 am bloody mary call already planned

IO!

I know it is sacrilegious to say but this is BY FAR the least amount of excitement I have had for an OSU - UM game. I would assume when Cooper was the coach UM fans thought OSU at least had a chance. With Tressel coaching and UM being ****** as ever, I feel like we are playing one of those Sister of the Poor teams.

Now I just have to hope I don't see this quoted a million times by 3:31

Thats alright. Donni thinks the Buckeyes are more focused on their uniforms than playing the game

That is such ********. There were two players converging on him. He should be allowed to dive.

LOL Michigan is so bad. I could walk out there right now and be a better punter than what they have. I bet half their team could actually punt better than their punter.

It really looks like a varsity team vs a jv team.

That was an awful call. So was the bogus holding called on the 98 yard run.

The OSU radio guys just called this the worst officiated game they've ever seen

Amazing game to play absolutely terribly, have an absolute garbage gameplan, and win by 30. LOL Richrod.

I'm worried for next year. My only hope is that the new live ball rule for touchdown celebrations will be severe enough such that refs aren't as frivolous in throwing the flag. That probably won't happen though and instead college football will become unwatchable.

Typical Tresselball. Play conservative when you play a vastly inferior opponent. Low variance. Probably the right choice. But damn it's frustrating. Defense bend but don't break strategy is so ideal against teams like Michigan.

i will say that the OSU Defense looked better - but that may have been thanks to the opponent losing their best player on offense?

i will say that as long as these bad years result in a bcs game, i'll be content. if osu starts having seasons like any number of teams (usc, texas, um, nd, fla, etc) are having this year, i'll be bummed.

odds of osu getting a bcs game this year? -110? or more like -1000?

Quick take on our trip to Columbus for the game...

* the cold was brutal.
* I saw very few m*ch*g*n fans there - either before the game or after. I haven't been to a game in a few years - is this typical or did they stop coming when they got bad?
* The Skull Session was awesome - much better than the game...lol
* BTW - if you are in college, and were selected to play in the band...lose the sheet music. Seriously now. The Massillon High School band was better and they didnt need sheet music!!!
* Could the officials be any worse? I can't wait to see the "gesture to the croud" penalities at every Oregon and UMiami game.....

Typically not a huge number of Michigan fans.

The sheet music- the Massillon band surely plays the same music each week, TBDBITL is going to play a completely new show every week.

glad you had a good time!

the cold was pretty rough - but it could've been a lot worse!

there were <2500 michigan fans imo. i rarely saw those pukey colors anywhere. i did feel bad, however, for some of the fans i did see as they were being harassed by idiot osu fans. i'm also disappointed that the crowd booed the um band. that is just childish.

funniest part of the day - a good friend and osu grad came in w/ his girlfriend and her friends who are from NYC. the 3 girls got all decked out in OSU gear and they were enjoying the scene when an osu fan went up to one of the girls and gave her a big smiley "O-H!"

being from NYC she had no clue what he was saying, but she's a typeA funloving chick whos always having a good time so she loudly replied "Ya!"

the guy just stared blankly at her and then walked away. we laughed about it all night. my new nickname for her is "Oh yeah"
