Classic Rubio. Amazing at everything but shooting which he is terrible at.

Kmart is just done imo. So awful.

Bjelly might be Shved 2.0

Bazz super inconsistent on offense, consistently terrible on defense, and is a negative defensive rebounder. Never seen anyone knock so many easy rebounds away from teammates.

I suspect Bjelly is not 100% recovered from that knee injury. He is not the same player he was before that injury.

22.6 Tim Duncan

Some nice company there. And he's younger than all of them were as rookies.

Tyus looked like a capable PG. That was about the only bright spot from an ugly game last night. Hopefully the end of Lavine at PG is in sight.

Mo will be traded. He's been pretty terrific lately so somebody should want him.

As I mentioned he is badly on the wrong side of the aging curve for this team.

And far more importantly, he doesn't really do a ton for us given the overlap between him and Wiggins--at least future Wiggins.

The last four seasons (counting this year) he has missed:
26 games
5 games
14 games
35 games

edit: that means he has played in ~71.5% of his team's games over the last four seasons.

There are other roster moves that could/should be made first before him imo, because he's valuable to this specific team(esp for that contract).

His injuries, although numerous in the last few years don't look to be chronic. It's not like he's had numerous acl injuries or anything.

I honestly was pretty pumped about our start of the year when healthy, albeit over a very very small sample size. We played a lot of close competitive games before our entire starting lineup went down with injury. I'm not going to say I thought we were going to playoff(i didn't), but our win projections were in the 30 range...after the first few games and this recent streak i'd say the 40 mark would have been feasible if we were lucky with some injuries. 40 wins in the west with the youth on our team would have been pretty impressive imo.

It's a tough spot flip is in now because if we want to tank we really need to ship out 2+ players and hold bazz out for as long as possible to keep losing with the other teams; Philly and LA aren't going anywhere. However, we are still 7 games behind Utah with 31 left to play...it's probable we finish in the bottom 6-8 teams in the league with a very high draft pick.

I'm definitely no expert on college prospects, but to me it looks like it's very top heavy with mudiay/okafor/towns as the top 3 and then a slew of other guys with upside but question marks. If that's the case and we have almost no shot at the bottom 2-3, I'm ok with keeping this roster as is and rolling with an improving Rubio/Wiggins/Bazz/Lavine core as well as a probable top 10 pick after this draft.

edit: so personally, I'm ok with shipping martin out for more Ls this year and a potentially higher pick, but I also don't think he's a must move due to his contract and skillset. I think we're closer to a playoff team than we are to the worst team in the league, so keeping him is more than fine.

But you guys are right, he's not making very much (especially given what is supposed to happen to the cap soon).

Also, with Bazz/Wiggins/Lavine on the roster, if Flip likes their progression it does make Martin replaceable(for even cheaper!). This year though and probably next year this Wolves team needs his ability to shoot and create his own shot if they want to win games imo.
Things have no changed to the point that i'm ok giving Martin away.

I can't figure out why Prince, a career 37% three point shooter who shot .421 over the last two seasons on 894 attempts, needs to step in rather than shoot the corner three. Wtf is that about?

Let me change that to career 37% three point shooter who shot .375 over the last two seasons on 136 attempts in 134 games. 894 was his total FG attempts obviously.

Was shooting 15% of his FG attempts as 3s, now shooting 9%.
