Rivals mods seem to think Harbaugh to Michigan is very close to a done deal.

If it's true then I'm happy. I've said that if they got rid of RR then they better bring in Harbaugh.

IMO, it will be quite nice to rid the program of the worst/most embarrassing coachthis Uni has ever seen.

Steve Fisher/Brian Ellerbe? Because that like decade of basketball wins that never happened was a very prideful moment. Fisher/Ellerbe were cleared of most wrongdoing but I mean that was a pretty painful thing yo, and those guys were in charge, plus Ellerbe left the hoops program full of Avery Queens, Josh Moores, Dominic Ingersons and Gavin Groningers. If you don't know those guys are, exactly, thanks Brian Ellerbe.

Bump Elliot had basically the same start to his Michigan career as RR FWIW.

I'll forever be in the RR should get another year camp, but if it has to happen it needs to be Harbaugh. Anyone else would be an utter joke.

Rivals mods have been saying this for weeks. "If you pay us money you too can have all of the juicy details of our 'inside info'!"

I mean ldo, rivals is looking for eyeballs, and their inside info is probably third hand rumor mongering the rest of us get fourth hand, however, Balas and the rest of them have broken stories in the past and their hint-hint-wink-wink-strong-feeling stuff has been sometimes correct in the past. It's not like they're totally throwingg **** against the wall imo.

Related to the coaching change stuff: I hold no personal animosity toward RR whatsoever, and as I've said plenty of times in the past, I think he's been the victim of an awful lot of bad luck. Not only do I hold no animosity toward him, I very much like the guy, I like all the kids on the team, most seem like genuinely nice happy kids and all that, etc. I think he's handled himself like a professional during this time where he's been left to dangle, there's no indication at least publically that he's shopping himself even though I think he could very well understandably and justifiably doing just that, etc. He's done his best to keep the recruiting class together despite Zettel etc., landed Justice Hayes and Goudis and others during this sketchy time. That's good stewardship during what's almost surely a rough time for him professionally.

Long story short: if the coaching change happens, I totally wish him well and hope he succeeds and will root for him wherever he goes, so long as he's not playing Michigan and doesn't take a dump on us on the way out the door. I'll say now that taking a dump = being unnecessarily douchey/negative, whereas if he airs some gripes in a classy and forthwright way about DB leaving him to dangle or other exigent circumstances to explain his failure, I'm okay with that. Also not taking a dump would be competing for recruits like Dee Hart or Crawford who are basically half-committed and only board because of RR himself. Crossing the line into douchbag territory would be trying to get guys already on the roster on scholarship, ie, Denard, although obviously some of the kids might totally want to follow RR of their own volition without prodding from RR, and some if it will be gray area.

I understand that they have broken stuff in the past. It's just that they have been acting like the change is going to happen for awhile now and I don't see them adding any new info today or saying anything much different than what they've been saying all along.

Were you calling for a coaching change in week 6 Greear, while simultaneously thinking Denard could win the Heisman in RR's offense? If yes, then lol @ you. If no, then you obviously haven't been right all along. You're just an excitable blight on this thread you've always been.
