I'm pretty sure a large section of the "we need Harbaugh" cliq only reasoning behind it is that he went to Michigan.

Is there another fanbase in CFB where going to that school matters that much in determining if they want you as a coach?

It gets you some leash at ND, but not a lot of schools have the sustained success where the pool is big enough to almost always have a viable candidate with a connection to the university.

I don't think it defines anyone here either. Unless that person solely relies on it to form their opinion of Michigan football. It is slanted, but the content exceeds any other blog/website out there.

side note: got my fedex tracking number for the tickets for saturday...getting to be pumped, it's been a couple years since i last went. can't wait to see the improvements and my wife's face when she sees everything...
