Cat Litter/Clogged Tiolet Problem Cat Litter/Clogged Tiolet Problem

I'm one lazy sob so I've always just dumped the whole thing of cat litter in the tiolet I have downstairs at my condo. I've done this probably 25-30 times with no problem. Yesterday I did it and you guess it, it didnt go down. I've tried plunging it....scooping water out of the tiolet with buckets....pretty much everything with 0 improvement on the sitluation. Only at the very bottom where the water goes in/out is there actual cat litter. It has to be compacted or something? I dont know.

Any ideas for me to improve the situation would be greatly appreciated...besides killing myself, of course : )

How the hell did you manage to spell it "tiolet" THREE times?

Anyway, try using an auger. And stop dumping litter in your tiolet.

you know how when cats pee, the litter absorbs it and forms a rock hard chunk?

Normal, everyday, cat litter? Not the organic dissolves-in-water kind? You've been dumping it in a toilet? Were you aware that pretty much the whole point of cat litter is that it clumps together when it's wet, right?

Call a plumber.

It went down fine everytime before. I will admit the amount I tried to flush this time was more then most other times. It smells sooooooo ***** bad downstairs too because of this. I really think im gonna have to go get some grade A gloves and just get in there and do work myself. Fk me. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get rid of the cat too.

Thats not really the reason why. There is actually two cats... (my roomates idea to get them and i obv get stuck with them when i have to kick him out because hes a scrub who cannot afford rent)

A boy and a girl both around 6-7 months of age. The boy looks a lot better and is geniunly outgoing and playfull. The girl cat seriously hates people and runs away scared whenever I or anyone else trys to pet her. Shes came up to me wanting to get pet less then once a week since I've had her I'd say.

Anyways I went and bought some gloves so I can get in there and see if I can pull some of that stuff out of there. I dont plan on renting this condo out too much longer so I really hope I can get this solved lol. I dont have any bleach but I'll go get some if itll really help. Thanks.

Clearly the cat is the problem here.

Every time I think the human race has hit a new low for stupidity, I am wrong.

Really, honestly?!? You thought flushing cat litter down the toilet was cool?

Thank god I don't own rental properties. I'd be morally obligated to chase ******ed ex-renters down and make them clean up crap like this on their own, with no gloves.

It really won't. Bleach is not going to dissolve anything and will just make it all the harder to get your hands down there, or for a plumber to get his hands down there. There are things you could use to dissolve it but honestly given your track record I don't think they are the way to go.

In the future get a large trash sack, pour the entire contents of the tray into it, tie the top, put the sack in another sack, tie the top, and throw it outside with your waste. Does that sound harder than what you are currently going through?
