I think if we want to get in the tourney, every game is a must win until the BTT. A loss @ Minnesota would be excusable, but a win over Wisconsin at home would give us that marquee win to put on our resume.

I think the bad losses to Indiana and Northwestern present a lot to get over in our case for a bid. If we finish 3-0 here and are kind of a "hot" team going into the tourney, we have a good chance of getting a bid.

Our quality wins are just non-existent right now. We need to get one at Minnesota or vs. Wisconsin to even have a chance. If we go 2-1 in these final games, winning a game in the BT tourney against a bad team then losing to a decent/good team isn't going to look very good to the committee. Win two games and then you've finished strong while getting a couple quality wins.

do they take into account close losses at all? we have a tonnnnn of them vs elite teams.

i remember when we made it a few years ago they said that us going to uconn and playing them close really helped us.

Yeah I'm assuming we have to win 4 out of the next 6 to get in. That is, finish 2-1 in the reg season and go 2-1 in the BT tourney. I think we have a legit shot, and I'm just glad Morgan made those two free throws so this discussion could even happen. I still can't get over that clutchness. He went to the free throw line with the whole season on the line, miss one and the season's over, and he made both. A 52ish% free throw shooter saved the season. So awesome.
