From an outsiders perspective I think GR3 is gone. Why do most ITT believe he's coming back?

Because:

1) He comes from money
2) He can greatly improve his stock by improving his jumper and handle

Yeah gr3 can improve his stock huge from year 1 to 2. Right now he would get drafted off of only his athleticism. Next year if he's a key component in the offense and improves his skills he could be a top 8-12 pick.

dye il be playing at MCC mostly (don't feel especially safe at ES) and i'll try at least once to not be completely blown so we can have a conversation.

softer than MC? one of my friends always has the greatest stories from there, but i've never been.

it's hard to gauge because i consider MCC just as exploitable. people do seem a bit behind the learning curve there though - preflop bets of $20 and no folding, guys shipping straight draws post and a lot of nonsense. it's a good game (sry to those currently playing it/figure this thread isn't lurked by pros) with deep stacks. that said - their security consists of a buff white guy who threw me off their porch for eating Bdubs (lol) and the players are mostly redneck types - one guy got unreal mad at me for stacking his KK w/AA (he was shook i flatted his 3b and c/shipped post lol) and for weeks kept talking **** to me and to other players saying he'd never give action again, guy seemed really unstable, etc.

That said, it's usually a good time, very clean, great dealers and floor staff.

Getting back into the real world helps keep my mind off the game.

I still will be staring at my computer screen and see Hancock raining 3's or Burke's block again.

Just sucks that barring a Wings run from nowhere, there won't be a big game where I have a rooting interest until UM Football starts.

I think McGary's staying. It's not like his draft stock could drop 30 rungs because he stays. He's a great player and in no way a fraud. He's been in top shape for about 2 months total and his game has JUST come to fruition. He's a very young 20 and has had bad behavioral problems in the past. He loves Beilein and probably recognizes he's not ready for the personal weight of playing in the pros.

Only care about UM football/basketball and Pistons. I'll bandwagon the rest but when wings, tigers or lions lose, I feel nothing.

This Michigan basketball loss still hurts. Funny thought that illustrates how close we were to winning it: if either us or Wichita St protects that 12 point lead, we win it all (most likely.)
