Agree that Burnett is the future, but not willing to say goodbye to Peprah yet. Bye-bye Bigby though.

OLB - Jones, Zombo, and Walden all played well at times. Will be interesting to see what shakes out here. ILB - Barnett is signed through 2013, I believe.

Wells, Sitton, and Bulaga will all be solid. Clifton is nearing the end of his career, unfortunately. So, LT is probably the OLine priority. Unless they get someone in the draft, I don't see the team parting ways with Spitz. Either him or Lang could take LG from Colledge. If Lang is starter, Spitz could back-up both Lang and Wells.

As for Harrell, who knows? At this point, he's certainly not a major factor in the team's future success.

God the thought of Chillar returning make me want to puke. Worst contract extension of all time. I kinda think James Jones is gone, he could be a #1 on some teams so he might expect big $. Although after his countless drops this year he might not be too high on other GM's radar.

Why does everyone want to draft a rb? 1. Grant 2 Starks 3 Jackson, seems really really solid to me.

Def need a WR, Driver may have played his last game or is very close to it, and Jones may also be gone.

I like Chillar a lot. He might be a bit overpaid, but Capers calls the nickel more than 70% and Chillar is our best coverage LB. He obviously didn't perform well this season, but he was playing hurt so I wouldn't draw conclusions just yet.

Yeah RB isn't a position of need anymore. Driver is definitely sticking around. He has two more years left on his deal. A WR that can return kicks and punts would be ideal.

Wow, after seeing MM last press conference, this team was even more banged up than we thought. Thank god that the Super Bowl was last week and not this week.

If the game was this week, Donald Driver, Charles Woodson, Jordy Nelson would not have played. Sam Shields would have been questionable, at best.

Nelson apparently was on crutches after the game, after playing with a bursa sac injury in the 4th quarter. AJ Hawk has been dealing with a chronic wrist injury and is having surgery on it this off season.

Bump because the Super Bowl champs should not be on the second page for awhile.

Awesome week and seeing everyone get all the press. Haven't had a chance to read through the thread entirely yet.

Did buy that Raji shirt in yellow the Tuesday after the NFC Championship game. Got it the day before the Super Bowl. Why they won, obv.

Would have given anything to be in that locker room to listen to Woodson's speech at halftime. I have probably listened to the post NFC Championship game speech at least a dozen times. Doesn't get old.

Can't wait til next year.

Also, +1 vote for "Green Bay Packers: TitleBeltTown" as the new thread title fwiw.

I'd like to see a WR in the draft. Driver isn't going to be around much longer, and I'm not super comfortable with Jones/Nelson as a number two. I like the Jennings as a deep threat and a good possession guy as a number two. Finley being back might change things in that I would trust him on third down. Right now Nelson/Jones aren't consistent enough for me to be confident in either one of them as a possession guy.

Ted Thompson quickly extended, and I'd assume MM is soon to follow.

Jonny Joly applied for reinstatement. Welcome back or gtfo? If Jenkins leaves, I'm sure he'd be quite valuable.

Welcome back. I remember Joly being decent at worst and down right dominant on good nights. Couldn't hurt to have him out there imo.

Didn't he do more than drink it? I thought he was involved in selling it or financing the selling. Either way, stupid decision but whatever, he wasn't raping, beating, or stealing from people so it doesn't bother me.

No, basically, Jolly's lawyers screwed him over. Jolly was just in the same car with someone who did have the purple drank (hanging with the wrong crowd). His lawyer quickly plead him out for the civil side, but that totally screwed him on the NFL side. There were also rumors of previous failed drug tests, so he got hit hard.

Thinking MM and TT take the BAP in the draft, but really, who doesn't want to see them take a flier on Casey Matthews? lol.

wouldn't mind Casey, but there's no guarantee he could adjust to 3-4 OLB. Seems like more of a 2nd rd guy than a #1, and I don't know if he falls to 64.

Either a 3rd or a 4th. I'm leaning more toward a 4th.

A+ title change

Yeah he missed half of the season so a 4th would seem likely.

McGinn from JSonline graded every player on the roster. Seems to have done a pretty good job.

Bishop, Hall, and Crosby are bit low imo.
