Just feel like i've lived a lie this entire season. Avila is such a piece of **** choke it's unreal.

I think its safe to say this was a team loss. I see one run, no real defensive plays, bad managing.

Prolly the worst game of the year in the biggest game of the year, really really disappointing.

O well though, I give us ~35% chance of winning game 5, so we still have life.

Really looking forward to the off season though, and seeing how our minor leaguers develop after another year of seasoning.

Albequerque and Betemit need to not see the field anymore until next season. They can't handle the postseason pressure. Betemit looks like a ****ing deer in headlights flailing the bat around with his eyes closed.

Man, everytime I hear Granderson talk I just can't help but love him. Just an awesome ****ing person, seriously.

If the Yankees do win it all atleast he gets a ring. It jus sucks that you can't even really root for him to come back after he's done playing as a hitting coach or manager as I doubt baseball will be on his radar once he's done playing.

i was at the game and utterly confused over some things. please help me clarify-

1) did Ajax have a shot at a diving catch vs jeter? would it have been +ev against the 2 additional runners who would've scored?

2a) how did anyone not see betemits offensive performance coming from a mile away? his AB in game 1(a) was abysmal and everything was off, AND inge dominated sabbathia/couldn't be worse against a righty than bet has been thus far this series? i dont remmeber betemits ab's in game 2 but they couldn't have been good given how ****ed his mechanics are.

2b) how the **** does inge not replace betemit at any point in this game? he looked like a cartoon on every strikeout

2c) what in the mother**** was he doing on that ground ball? did he think he was in foul territory, and by picking it out of fair it would make it foul? only explanation.

3) how in the mother**** do you not sub a hot maggs in for ramon or betemit w/don playing whereever needed?????

4) how do you not bunt with ramon EVERY TIME THERE'S A MAN ON FIRST except for the one time you shouldn't bunt with gascan igniting himself on the first atbat of the game?? (bb ajax)

5) how does leyland leave ricky in after the 2 hits start the 5th and jeter/granderman coming up? HOW ABOUT AFTER GRANDY 2B + IBB BASES LOADED? arod tho, w/e he's getting shelled.

5b) how do you not have a guy warming up when the 6th inning started iirc? or does coke prefer to chill at that point.

5c) HOW DO YOU BURN EVERY AVAILABLE RELIEVER IN A GAME THAT'S WIDE ****ING OPEN? WHY DO YOU HAVE PENNY ON THE POSTSEASON ROSTER? ARE YOU SAVING HIM FOR GAME 5?

5d) how do you leave coke in after the two singles start the 8th? oh yeah, both singles were AROD and TEX's dead bats! how about the walk the inning before and the rope Cano hit?

If Betemit was white he would have been benched as quickly as Inge was. Jk jk, but he is truly garbage IMO. So glad Leyland was dumb enough to throw him out there in game 4.
