Eh it's the NFL, things change year to year. Dak may be total dog poop after we thought he was elite. Teams may force Brees to throw more again this year, who knows. Specially if he's got a big ass stud like Merideth!

The jury is still out on Dak. Dez went to **** 2 years ago when he got paid and Dak doesn't have the escape skills Russell Wilson has so it hurt real bad losing his LT.

Brees had thrown 620+ times 5 or 6 years in a row. Last year they made a conscious decision to run the ball more and get better on D do Brees threw a lot less. It workout really well. There is no reason to go back and they aren't. Sorry bro.

Anyone ever been to Vegas on opening weekend of the NFL? I’m thinking about it for this year just don’t know if the sports books are crazy and it’s not worth going.

Some calls I've made against the general consensus.

David Johnson - 3rd rated prospect that year
LeVeon Bell- #1 rated prospect that year
Tyreek - didn't see him coming but ince i sae him play for KC I wanted him on my team.
Thielen- no one saw him coming but his tape two years ago was juicy. He's quietly one of the best WR in the league now. Just gota slight QB upgrade too.
Evan Engram- was big into him as soon as i saw how the giants were using him.

I loved Foles, Ladarius Green, Dak.....don't think i was wrong on any of them. Injuries and opportunities have hirt them.

I drafted Cooks in front of Evans. Looks like a bad decision. Cooks was the best small receiver I'd ever seen in college. I thought Evans had a higher ceiling but Cooks was the safer pick at the time.

I've def made some bad calls over the years. In this draft I only see 3 elite prospects. Then about 5 good prospects. Landing spot changes everything of course. It killed Corey Coleman. He's a fantastic receiver who A) can't stay healthy but they are freak injuries and B) stuck in gawd awful cleveland.

I think I was talking to you about Fournette last year and predicted he would be a top 10 dynasty asset in a year. That's with a terrible QB. Bortles sucks so bad.

We're going to use Fournette though?

I called Zeke. lol

I thought Tyreek and Thielen calls were real nice.

Predicted that Seattle would turn the offense over to Russell Wilson more and more. When everyone viewed Seattle as a run first team.

483- 31 more attempts than the pervious year.
546
553

His pass attempts have gone up 101 attempts. 20%+ increase over 4 years.

Missed on ODB completely. Never saw any of the stuff he's done in the NFL when he was in college.

Hindsite is 20/20. McCaffery was hot and i think someone even posted a prop bet in the general ff thread that he would outscore Fournette. Nobody took him up on it.

I miss on a lot too. Traded Jordan Reed for Ladarius Green. Tradef Cobb for C-Patt. Lolol

i think i once drafted kenbrell thompkins ahead of deandre hopkins, so we all make mistakes

im not sure you can call fournette or zeke "finds" though, they were still pretty consensus #1 overalls in their classes, even if you also knew that.

thielen and hill are great finds. what do you really look for? obviously we're all looking at tape and college (at least i am) + opportunities

lol Fournette's draft score on NFL.COM was hyper elite for an RB. Like as close to a can't miss score as they give, for context.

Yeah it's surprising I had no problem trading for that pick considering he was so coveted. I remember there being a lot of doubt surrounding Fournette's ankle and McCaffery was blowing up the preseason. Hell Fournette sat out the preseason. Hardly a slam dunk but yes he was still probably the consensus.

I'm not a Zeke fan btw. Lolol If i owned Zeke i would be trading him right now.

Also you're referencing NFL.com. They are terrible. Go check out Gil Brandt's QB ranking article if you don't believe me. Winston and Bortles in front of Goff? One of the worst rankings I've seen in a long time.

Watch what tape i can find. After David Johnson put up that insane combine i watched his tape and I saw that insane run in the senior bowl. There isn't a David Johnson in this draft. Not even Barkley measures up.

@AdamSchefter: Bears are not matching two-year, $10 million offer sheet that RFA WR Cameron Meredith signed last week with the New Orleans Saints,l

What tape do you watch though? I watch college football pretty much as much if not more than nfl a lot of times, but I calling that “tape” sounds weird. Do you have like a scouting editing room in your house?
