I probably wouldnt mind him resting a week either honestly. Dont want a spiller season where he is like 75% all year cuz it didnt heal all the way

Oh yeah just dawned on me that actually the best case is him going full RG3, and starting.

GO CHARLES

just curious what do you guys think is the best play for the chiefs, play JC and hope he doesnt injure his ankle more or sit him out 1 or 2 weeks and let it heal for a bit.

Have him in my biggest league, and I agree. In fact, I would go further and say they should keep him out the next two weeks leading to the bye, make sure he comes back 100 percent.

Lol fantasy football.

Announce him as the starter and give him 3-4 carries before sitting him for the day

Kuta, never forget that McCowan was the guy who knocked you out of the playoffs last year, and cost you rubbing money on your titties. Even for that single contribution, he forever gets a spot on my ring of honor now

Btw Kuta you violated the roster rules last night I noticed. It's fine to use the IR slot, but when you picked up that guy to put him on your IR, you went over our 20. Technically that's not how our rosters work. You know that.

In rafiki's defense McCown was playing out of his mind at that point. It appears he was getting super lucky now but that wasn't apparent at the time.

Also it doesn't matter to me but I was under the impression that we could only put players on our IR that got hurt while they were on our team.

Ya I'm in the same boat, I'm not going to demand a change, but angleshooters will indeed angleshoot. That's what he did here.

In many leagues if my IR or DL spots are open, I have dropped a player to pick up a IR/DL player and then after placing him on IR/DL picked up another player. I think in this case it differ since the unused 5 bench spots glitch was in effect. But curious to see what others think.

i think the appropriate play is to drop a guy, pick up whoever you want to stash on your ir, and then pick up whoever you want or your guy you dropped after he clears waivers. that is my view on stashing i guess

Not to me. Why can't we pick up somebody and put them on IR?

I guess I agree that you shouldn't be able to angleshoot with the extra bench spots but I think it's kinda meh that you have to drop a play just to add somebody to IR but whatever.

Dropped him to avoid argument and also cause Shaq Evans sucks, but I never had him as part of my active roster. Also, I could have easily picked him up before picking up my defense this week and the result would have been exactly the same.

I vaguely remember it being specifically stated that the player had to be on our team when they got put on IR for us to place them on our IR. Again it doesn't matter to me either way.

Because it defeats the reasoning behind the IR slot in the first place. We didn't expand to 21, we added an IR to be able to shelter one of our hurt players. If one of your players is hurt, you place them in your IR slot, and you pick up someone else. Once they come off IR, soon as you notice you must drop someone. His angleshoot is on par with the one where you notice your guy came off IR, but pretend to not notice until everyone plays to see how everyone does, and then pick a guy to drop (maybe someone else who gets hurt).

Fact is he would have had to drop a decent enough player to get the guy he wanted to stash, and he skirted it. Not the end of the world by any stretch, but it's a move I think most of us wouldn't pull.

Indeed that's what an angleshoot is. It's technically not doing the right thing, but not doing it entirely wrong either. I'm not the only one to notice it either Kuta. None of us even asked you to undo it, we're just mentioning that most of us wouldn't do it that way.
