New Multisport League (2 spots left!!!) - Fantasy Sports -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

We have one league running. Looking to get a second going. It's another fun level of degen

This is what I am thinking based off the other 2 multis I am in

$500 total
100 for baseball
100 for basketball
100 for football
200 for overall

If it is not dynasty, they need to be very deep keepers. After that we can work out roto vs h2h and some other options.

I think at this price range we should be able to find enough players (or teams) to work out rules that work for 12

Prefer dynasty but fine to go with majority.

I know we're debating dynasty or keeper first but want to just post this stuff anyway.
Football-16 week h2h (No playoffs for easier after season ranking), PPR, 6pt passing TDs (5 players in youth squad)
Baseball-10 cat roto (10 or 15 players in youth squad)
Basketball-9 cat roto (5 players in youth squad)

If we do end up doing roto we would need to decide what the end of year tiebreaker would be for the standings fwiw.

Like I said on the other thread, if I can get my friend to be a co-owner and depending on which site(s) we use. I prefer roto for basketball and baseball, and head to head football. I like ShipItUp's suggestion of 10-15 minor leaguers for baseball and 5 for basketball. I do prefer football playoffs we'd just need to decide in advance if the consolation bracket or regular season standings would be the final standings. I think only the winners playoff bracket should determine the final standings and then go with regular season standings for the consolation bracket teams.

Re: keeper vs dynasty. I am thinking the rosters would be dynasty level. 30 baseball. 20 football and basketball at least. Basically a cheat around using ****ty sites. We could have minors on dlf or fantrax but those sites are as good. And running things off spreadsheets leads to issues

Also prefer straight snake this time around, rather than 3rd round reversal or whatever it was we did last time. I strongly prefer roto for NBA and MLB, probably am out if it's h2h. NFL h2h is fine.

Put me down for NBA/mlb roto and some sort of non luckboxy solution for the NFL.. 2 week playoff or first rd bye for top 2 seeds with 6 teams qualifying or something

Yea. You can trade across sports. In our other league it had been a lot of fun and added extra levels of strat. It also allows for quicker rebuilds as you can move players from stronger sports to bolster the weaker ones.

Rule thoughts so far
Leaving toward dynasty with super deep benches (no AAA but deep enough benches to stash minor leaguers or projects)
Baseball and basketball roto
Football h2h - With 6 team playoffs (top 2 byes) and conso bracket for rest (possibly winner of conso bracket gets something)
