I would not give up Kamara and Gronk for McCoy and Cooks.

Don’t think it matters much either way, just go with whichever guys you like better.

LolZeke drama:

I had McFadden on roster weeks 1-6ish, dropped him and picked him up another time and dropped him again, then had AlfMo on roster on 2 different times throughout the season, until finally picking him up one last time 2 weeks ago and holding him...

I've crushed the WW in between and set myself up this week for the options of: (full PPR)

Ingram @ Buf
Darkwa @ SF
JuJu flex @ Indy

...and have no desire to run AlfMo out there ahead of any of them. Am I Crazy? (Also have AB but don't mind the stack vs Indy, and am a big favorite to win this week, with playoff spot locked up.)

Ingram > Morris > JuJu > Darkwa, IMO.

Not crazy imo. Starting anyone with established, locked in volume/targets seems better than rolling out Alf with no idea wtf Dallas is gonna do with him unless you really need to gamble to have a shot at winning.

One of the reasons I'm considering it is because Olsen will be back in a couple weeks and I'd probably have to bench him anyway. Olsen is obv < Gronk but he is still one of the best TEs.

Do you mean you like the side of the guy trading those players or the side receiving those players?

Ya i might be overvaluing Darkwa a little this week, but it's a tasty matchup where volume of touches should be there more conclusively than Morris for this week alone anyway.

Also, thanks Wheatsauce, makes me feel a little more justified that my thinking isn't too far off here. It's also nice that if Alf goes off, I can still utilize him over the next 3-5 weeks beyond as needed.

If your reasoning for taking the trade revolves around Olsen returning to form, then I would def reconsider. That injury took away way more than expected from guys like Dez and Durant in their prime, I would not want to rely on a guy that was already showing signs of decline on the tail end of his career coming back from it scot-free.

Here's what I had jotted down for future picks -- not sure where I got NYJ/HOU from..

week 10: lions
week 11: jaguars
week 12: titans? texans?
week 13: bears
week 14: chargers? texans?
week 15: browns? 49ers?
week 16: jaguars if not week 11?
week 17: ravens?

But agreed, week 16 is the only other time to use the Jets, and it's far from a lay up against the Chargers. Had planned to take the Jags @ SF that week.

So, I could go:

(week 10 / 11 / 16)

Detroit / Jaguars / Jets
or
Jets / Jaguars / ?

Other week 16 picks would maybe be the Ravens (home vs IND), and uhh .. going to use the Bears week 13 vs SF so they aren't an option .. maybe Carolina at home vs the Bucs, far from a layup..

Might be best to just go safe, pick DET as I assume many others will - might see a bunch of Bears picks at home vs GB. Some people may gamble on taking SF vs NYG, then try to gain ground in week 11 when I can take the Jags and most everyone else can't.

Jags have a bunch of games that you could use them in, so I would go for them in the week with nothing else easy when needed.

TEN @ Ind, over Texans for the wk. 12 choice looks better. Not sure if you're gonna use the Texans at all - high risk, low reward.

Bears - wk. 13 is great, but also LAC - wk. 13 vs. CLE, then maybe save the Bears for home vs. CLE in wk. 16..

I think you have the right strategy. Gonna need to potentially take a gamble at some point, and of course re-evaluate based on opponents and results.

I would do DET this week, and then re-plan again next week. The Jets points are juicy, but save them for a later gamble.

Deep league - 28 QBs are owned.
Have Carr, Winston, Fitzpatrick

Who has the better value in redraft Bridgewater or Garropolo?
Stanton, Savage and Kizer also available if it matters

Ya Rod Smith flex is suicide. If you want a Cowboy flex, it's probably more T-Wil or Butler if Dez doesn't play.

Does anyone else post smack talk like this? (12 team league)

I see you are 'leading' our league with a 7-2 record.

I also see you are 9th in total points.

I also see that your weekly opponents have scored a total of 855.4 points this season (lowest in the league).

For comparison, Tom's defending champion team has scored 892.9 points this season.

Tom's defending champion team has 1 win and 8 losses.

That basically means every week you are, on average, playing a team WORSE than the team that has only 1 win so far this season.

Run better.

5-4 and offered this in .5 PPR, seems decent?

I get Fournette, Hunter Henry, and Cooks
He gets Dak, Hunt, and Cam Brate

My other QB is Stafford, other RBs are Gordon/Cohen, other WRs are Tyreek/Michael Thomas/Goodwin/Rishard Matthews/Maclin (3WR/no flex)

I take that. Basically going from Dak and Matthews to Staff and Cooks. I think the wr upgrade outweighs the qb downgrade.

I used too but tapped the tank too much and got the spot to quit ($200 league in Australia and he didn't rock up to draft in a 2QB league, we drafted a semi reasonable side for him in terms of positions, he ran pure as God with the 20th (Palmer) and 23rd (Bortles) and despite him mis-setting his team more weeks than not he got 2nd, won $1000 and quit...

Still bitter, prettt sure he had Antonio Brown the year he started GOATing at the turn as well.

That's who's I was leaning towards. I probably should have added that I am already starting Dez and Witten though
