I literally thought this 2 seconds before I saw this post. Still managed to win two leagues with two Barnidge goose eggs.

2-1 this week, lost decent lead thanks to opponent's d-will, sigh

edit - just read the box score, was winning with 4 minutes to go, lol

I've never done a league where a waiver wire claim moves you to the back of the line so I have a question.

1) If I have the 8th pick and me and the 6th pick each pick someone up - next week will I get the 11th pick and he gets the 12th?

2) If I have the 8th pick and pick up 2 people and the 6th picks up one player - next week will I get the 12th pick and he gets the 11th?

Tyrell Williams should be everybody's #1 WW claim. I'm not going to sit here and say it's a lock. It's obviously not but his measurables project him as a WR1 and he has a chance to get #1WR opportunity in SD.

This only flames out if Rivers doesn't trust him. His floor if there is trust is low end WR2 production. Ceiling is 1000+ yards and double digit TD'S.

Is Williams worth blowing the #1 WW claim in standard? Not sure if I want to pull the trigger. He'd be a flex option only most weeks since I have BMarsh and Arob

Absolutely not using the number one WW claim for Williams

If you waiver wire after him, you move behind him.

Example1) In your example, he waivers at #6 and moves immediately to 12th.
Then you waiver at #8 and you now move to 12th and he moves up to 11th.

Example 2) He picks up a player and moves to 12th. You pick up a player and he moves to 11th. If you are the only one to pick up a second player on the way through, you move to 12th again.

Jusrt think of them as instant moving to the back of the line after you use one. The last guy to use one is last in line.

So the general consensus is that Tyrell Williams is better for RoS than Travis Benjamin?

Put these in order please:

Will Fuller
Travis Benjamin
Tyrell Williams

Lessons learnt from week 1:

Don't over value running backs on bad offenses. Supposed #1RB Gurley - nothing. AP, Zeke - piss poor. Doesn't matter how many chances you get if the defense knows what you're doing.

i still kinda like benjamin over williams just because benjamin showed some skills last year and williams is largely unproven. but honestly, i think gates and woodhead see the biggest bumps and id just be tossing a coin between benjamin/williams at this point

How do you explain AP the last ten years then?

So you're saving it for the next chance at a possible #1 WR with a possible season long opportunity?

Watch his 5 targets and remember they were trying to protect a lead. He looks bigger and faster than everybody and jumps off the tape.

Yeah. I wouldn't trust any SD WR enough to blow a high waiver priority.

Just pick up Inman after the waivers run

This. Rivers is gonna spread it even more than he usually does. Woodhead becomes a PPR monster and Gates as long as he stays healthy cleans up. Anyone's guess on a week to week basis what WR's deliver for the Chargers but they have a very juice schedule the next 3 weeks minimum.

Woodhead was already a monster. It's definitely a bump for Gates but this could be a Danario Alexander moment for Tyrell. Alexander put up a 37-658-7 line in 8 games in 2012. Maybe not but upside is there.

Will Fuller, Tyrell Williams, or Eli Rogers ros?

Yeah, I'm not blowing any waiver budget on anything this week. Probably just dump Ajayi for BPA once dust settles

I think Rogers is the must add in ppr leagues

I have a league that resets, I usually have a bunch of waiver picks in. No reason to wait for free agency.
